I have one and can't live without it (absolutely love candles). I bought this one for my church. I don't know how they got by without it. Candles don't burn evenly and are wasted when you don't trim the wicks. It's a quality product, inexpensive, and easy to use. Basically, perfect.

This is a great wick trimmer. Its long enough to reach down into my deeper candles, and has a bend in it so its not so awkward trimming those long candles either. You may find that you will need an extra tool like a butter knife or something to get the trimmed wick off the trimmers, the wax often causes the wick to stick to it.

I do like this wick trimmer! It works easily to trim the candle wicks to the perfect heighth to light it.

I am calling these Primitive Country Wick trimmers, because they do add such a charming, lovely touch to my primitive country decor. These wick trimmers are made well and are so convenient to trim down the candle wicks. I display mine on the mantle of my fireplace next to an antique punch tin lantern.This trimmer has such beautiful craftsmanship and are very sturdy and cuts the wick easily!

I can generally cut most of my wicks with an easy snip of regular kitchen scissors however I thought I might enjoy these more for a me versatile wick cutting. These are definitely sturdy and durable, they aren't light and flimsy so they will last a lifetime I feel! However they are a bit stiff, maybe using some oil or dish soap might loosen them up a bit but either way they are a bit difficult to open/close. They cut wicks like a dream so really my only compliant is the stiffness and that very well may be able to be fixed. I think these are a great tool to have for any crafter or candle maker!
