I have an older model kerosene heater and a replacement wick is almost impossible to find. The wick I ordered was perfect!

Wick just arrived and had installed and working perfectly in about 20 minutes. The cheaper heaters have metal pins you have to line up to holes and are a pain to the point I was ready to destroy the wick and heater. These have no pins to line up and simply snap in plus they even have a line on the wick to line it up. My advice is pay the extra to get a Mega Heater or equivalent as the cheaper heaters all take the wicks with pins. Only about $20.00 difference.

Good selling & buying process. A handheld philllips head screwdriver is fine, and a coordless screwdriver is faster (fyi). From start to finish it was 30 minutes, but knowing how now, I could repeat it in 15 minutes (not hard). You can do this with fuel still in the heater, but that can be messy & somewhat dangerous as you're working on the whole unit and the fuel can splash around. I removed the starting batteries and emptied the fuel (siphon or carefully pour it out; that took as much time as the actual replacement of the wick but glad I did it in that order prior; much easier & safer to work on things). One small but crucial step is to measure the wick's level & clearance to the upper part of the heating element(again per the instructions) prior to complete reassembly; if you don't and find the flame incorrect in height per the adjustment or unlevel, it's a pain going back in to re-set it (disassebly all over again & very messy adjusting a fuel-wet wick). Download or find the instructions for the disassembly and wick clearance; if you disassemble screws on the heater that are not required for this process, you made it much harder on yourself (and time consuming). As always use safety equipment for yourself; goggles, apron, fuel-safe gloves & follow the instructions (you'll thank yourself and it'll go smooth, cleaner & quick).
