Your cart is empty. If you're only rocking one gear, sometimes you gotta do some cog swapping to ensure you have a tall or low enough gear for the ride. With Park Tool's Chain Whip/Sprocket Remover for 1/8in Cogs - SR-18. 2 you no longer have to settle for using a slipping 3/32in chainwhip while installing or removing 1/8in cogs, often leading to bloody knuckles. The opposite side features a 1in box end wrench if your one-speed bike happens to have a freehub, and the wrench is heat treated for strength while the molded handle provides comfort. Hardened pins keep the chains connected to the tool even if you're wrenching off a stubborn cog.

Works well, but overpriced. Go with an off brand.

Solidly built and it's a Park tool. Worked wonderfully to both remove an older fixed gear cog and tighten in its replacement.

Yes you can "make it work" using a chain-whip designed for a road/mtb cassette. But life is so much better when working on a fixie/track bike and having a whip designed for a single speed chain/cog. If you can find a less expensive option for a whip specifically for a single speed, I guess buy it because these things aren't complicated. It's a metal stick with some chain riveted to it, so going less expensive would probably be just fine. Minus one star because it is insanely overpriced for what it is, but i'm not returning it.

The first noticeable attribute of the SR-18.2 is its generous size. Standing taller and more robust than your run-of-the-mill chain whips, this tool instills confidence from first grip. The elongated handle offers a comfortable, ergonomic fit, allowing for increased leverage and control during use. Such substantial dimensions make it a standout among the crowd, visually reflecting its superior performance capabilities.Beyond these standout characteristics, this Park Tool masterpiece is simply a great tool to work with. The SR-18.2 feels solid and well-constructed, effectively transmitting power to the chain whip. During my extensive testing, it consistently demonstrated excellent durability, even through rigorous use. The precisely machined chain interface allowed for seamless engagement with the sprocket, delivering a confident grip for secure removal. In conclusion, the Park Tool SR-18.2 Chain Whip/Sprocket Remover is a game-changer when it comes to bike maintenance. Its larger-than-average size, paired with the thick grip for increased torque, sets it apart from its competitors. Coupled with superior construction quality, this tool is a reliable companion that allows for effortless sprocket removal with precision and confidence. If you're serious about maintaining your bike's drivetrain and desire exceptional quality, the SR-18.2 is an indispensable tool that will leave you impressed.

Uitstekende grip op de casette. Lange greep laat grote krachtzetting toe (wat dikwijls nodig is bij sram xd cassettes)

Bit more expensive but than others, but quality is much better than my last cheaper chain whip which was half the price and snapped after a couple uses.
