This kit brought me right back to childhood egg-dyeing days, but with a few fun upgrades. The tie-dye kit was a hit with the kids—it makes wild, swirly patterns without too much mess. The whisk-style tool is clever for little hands (and less breakage!).The colors are vibrant and the dye sets fast. My only wish? A couple more egg stands or drying trays would’ve helped. We had to get creative with a cardboard egg carton.Still, this is a fun family tradition kit that feels nostalgic and fresh at the same time. Would definitely repurchase next Easter.

This kit is just like what you'd get from the store as a kid, (with a few more bits and pieces). It worked just fine and we had a lot of fun making the eggs. The only reason for my one star deduction is just how expensive this is! Far more than you'd pay in store. But I guess that's what you get for the convenience.

Everyone, from the children to the adults, loves to partake in the annual coloring of the Easter eggs. Every year, this is made possible thanks to thoughtfully put together sets like these ones. By ordering through this listing, you will receive one PAAS deluxe kit, one PAAS tie-dye kit, and finally, a PAAS Whiskers egg gripper. Each individual kit is loaded with everything you need to get started coloring your Easter eggs. All you need is some vinegar, containers, water, and, of course, eggs!The deluxe kit is always a safe bet, and is one I have been purchasing for years. There are a total of nine different colored dye tablets included, so this is your best bet if you’re looking for a variety of colors. The dye colors include blue, light blue, green, light green, yellow, orange, red, pink, and purple. In addition, there is also an assortment of other goodies included, consisting of a sticker sheet, egg stands, egg arounds (these are always fun), and a crayon for writing or drawing on your eggs.This is the first time I have ever seen the tie-dye kit. Included in this set are a total of six dye tablets, with the colors consisting of blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, and purple. What makes this set unique is the included dye press. This inclusion allows you to create a tie-dye effect for your eggs. Also included in this kit are two cloths, egg stands, and egg arounds.In order to set up your dye containers, you will need some distilled white vinegar, and some water. I always recommend using disposable clear plastic cups, this way the kids can see what they are doing. Add the dye tablets to each cup, then add a tablespoon of vinegar. Wait a few minutes for each tablet to fully dissolve. Once dissolved, add a half cup of water. From here, you can submerge the eggs and let the magic take shape! The longer the eggs remain submerged in the dye, the more vibrant the color. The final results are stunning, and the eggs always come out looking great. The inclusion of the whisk-like egg gripper is definitely an improvement over their old wire egg dipper. This one actually works. The tie-dye set is a bit more involved if you are looking to achieve the tie-dye effect for your eggs. As such, I would definitely recommend consulting the instructions on the back of the kit. After the eggs are colored and have fully dried, I have a trick for you that will help improve their appearance even more. This is a secret that has been passed down from my grandfather, and we have been doing this for decades at this point. Apply some vegetable oil to a paper towel, and rub it all over your freshly colored and dried egg. This will make the egg shiny, which only enhances the vibrant colors of the dyes. Be careful, though, as the egg will be slippery!In closing, this is simply a wonderful set by PAAS. Every year, their egg dye kits have brought joy to our family. One thing is for certain, we are covered for Easter this year. I would highly recommend this set, as well as these PAAS Easter egg dye kits.

Great bundle that has several different ways to decorate and dye eggs for easter. Good for a variety of ages, if you don't want littles dipping in the dye, they can help choose the colors for tie-dye or design the eggs with the crayon or stickers. The Whiskers egg dipper is adorable, but is also much easier for little hands to hold than the wire dipper and they don't have to worry about balancing the egg so carefully.

As a kid we always used PAAS sets so this is very nostalgic! The 2 kits that are included have some fun options, but overall this listing is not a great value at the current price of $18.Compared to big box store prices, that's over 2x the price for the convenience of having it delivered to your door. I completely understand that there's an upcharge for the convenience of online delivery, but more than twice the price is excessive to me. If that's worth it to you then more power to ya! But our family wouldn't repurchase this at the current price of $18.
