First of all, I appreciate the fast shipping and handling from the seller .As you see , I am writing after using this over a year.Well I have the Optoma HD161X projector which was one of the best when I bought in 2015. The video and clarity, we liked everything about it. The bulb blew in 2018 April and thats when I had to replace with this one. Having the Prime with Amazon and thinking of getting it quicker, I simply searched for the bulb with my projector model and this was the top one popped up. I simply bought this and got it shipped really quick.I installed it well , it was very easy as it is with the cage - basically the whole set .First thing that I observed was it was not as bright as the original one. Instead of returning this I called the seller and their technical folks, they simply said to clean the lens , it shud help. I did that and even then it was pretty much the same. I think then I simpy ignored it for while as I was travelling and lost the time to return it within the prime period.Had to stick to it until last week when it blew on me.I got anotherone which was specifically said to be for HD161X projector and just installed it y'day and to my surprise it is exactly like the original one and crisp and clear.So my recommendation, please dont' by any bulb that says it works for so and so model. Get the specific one that is made for that particular model.It's impossible to find an original part though. I have tried a lot, please share if you have ways to get an original part.

Simple to fit, completely revitalised the projector. Hadn’t noticed how dim the light had become!Excellent. I would recommend this over the cheaper naked lamp as it is a far more straightforward replacement, done in a couple of minutes.

Fits and works perfectly... best the projector has looked in years. We'll see how long it lasts. Only thing is that this is bulb only, no housing like the picture.

I bought this lamp for an Optima X316. The factory bulb gave us 5600 hours (it's advertised to run for 10,000) before it exploded. This bulb lasted not quite 8 months and about 1000 hours. We used it almost daily for 3-4 hours. Having to replace a bulb in less than a year with so few hours on it is ridiculous. I will definitely be ordering my next one somewhere else.

After reading other reviews, I made sure to order the authentic Optoma bulb from Amazon. I think it was $150 vs $80 for the generic one, but the OEM bulb is working great so far. On my last official Optoma bulb, I got 3200 hours out of it in Bright mode. There's a little bit of a brightness increase with this new bulb compared to when the old bulb was on it's last leg. Overall, I'm pleased with the bulb and will update if something warrants a ratings change.

La lampada funziona perfettamente, ora non ricordo la qualità iniziale del proiettore ma devo dire che non ho notato nessun problema. il pacco inoltre è stato confezionato accuratamente.

Bought this for my HD141X I bought in 2014 after putting 5000 hours on the original lamp.I received what was pretty much an identical replacement, I didn't have any troubles with fitting it in the compartment despite what I saw on a YouTube video and what I've read in other reviews. Only difference is this one didn't come with two washers on the screw while the original lamp did.The lamp as far as I can tell is equal quality to the original. I haven't had any brightness issues.edit: 50 lamp-hours laterThis new lamp makes a different subtle high pitched sound that the old lamp did not make. It doesn't happen every time I use the projector, and usually goes away within a couple of minutes. Just an observation.edit 2: 963 hours on eco mode and the lamp croaked on me. Started flickering while I was playing a game and making a grinding sound. I put my original lamp back in and the projector itself is fine.

Bought this to replace an existing bulb which had 2300+ hours on it. Although these bulbs are said to last 3000+ hours I replaced it ahead of schedule as a previous system had its bulb explode complicating replacement. I'll keep the old bulb as a temporary back up spare. The new bulb arrived in good condition and works as the original. A minor installation problem, a retainer screw hole on the new lamp assembly was too small to accommodate the existing hardware and had to be enlarged. The aluminum housing cover for the lamp had to be bent inward to provide mounting clearance inside the projector. This might intimidate some (if so send it back for a replacement). Having worked on many complex systems this was a minor inconvenience for me (but maybe not for you). These components should not require tweaking as they are delicate and can be damaged if not careful. Four stars for the required hardware tweak. The lamp performs well otherwise.

I bought this a while back when the bulb in my projector went out. I have been testing it over the passed few months and I have to say I am impressed with this bulb. Its just as bright and clear as the original and was surprisingly easy to put in. I will be ordering another one so that I will have a replacement when this one goes out. This is a quality product!!

Voila enfin une lampe complète très facile a installer et d'une luminosité remarquable.Cet ensemble lampe plus boitier s'insère sans difficulté une fois le capot du vidéoprojecteur retiré.C'est un produit a recommander d'autant , par ailleurs , que le prix est très raisonnable.
