I have limited space and I don’t have luxury of buying high end computer equipment.I fully expected it to barely meet my expectations to be honest with you. I was wrong. This is great. It’s a basic unit you’re gonna have to get a monitor and keyboard. If you don’t already have one. I got a little 15 inch monitor. It’s a great set up for a small desk.I am very happy with this purchase. My only complaint is that I ordered pink and I got white, which really disappointed me because all of my stuff is pink, but that’s not enough for me to downgrade my rating of the product.

First thing I did was to wipe Windows and install Debian. This machine runs Home Assistant, Homebridge, zigbee2mqtt, docker, mosquitto broker, and a bunch of other things without breaking a sweat. It's compact and reliable, with more than enough RAM and storage for the job at hand, and excellent performance. Love it! Recommended.

You need to understand where I'm coming from. I am old school. I grew up in the 70's & 80's.I saw my first computer in the mid 80's.In the 90's, I didn't have anybody to teach me how to use computers so I taught myself through a series of trial and error. In the late 90's, I bought my first desktop computer and the rest is history.Advances have been made through the years and systems are getting smaller and smaller.Prices have also become more affordable to the consumer.I wanted a desktop computer but I didn't want something that is bulky. I won't be using the desktop much but in the event my grandsons came over to visit for a few days, I wanted them to have a computer to use if they wanted to play games. When this little computer came across my Amazon Vine feed, I decided to order it.Not gonna lie, I'm a bit impressed. Ok, I'm really impressed. This little box packs a big punch. I never expected that.It was easy to set up and the box itself takes up very little space.Windows 11 starts up quickly and I have everything I need at my fingertips.Whatever I can do on a laptop or other desktop computers I can do on this cute little Nimo. It's lightweight so if I want to bring it somewhere, I can. This little box features USB ports, HDMI ports, a LAN port, SD card reader & a security port.I can connect multiple screens to this one little box.Everything I can do on another computer I can do on this.Although I received this item via the Amazon Vine program, I am very happy I decided to order it.This little computer is well worth the money. I highly recommend to others.

I completely expected to receive a mini-PC with a 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM, but when I opened it I was delighted to see that mine had been upgraded to 1GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. This makes for a very capable system for common tasks. Booting into Windows feels quick, and the desktop is responsive. There is no indication that this is a lightweight PC, even using 4K resolution. Cloud-based apps work great, and everything is snappy and responsive, even YouTube. This is a cost-effective machine for browsing and productively with capabilities to do more when needed.

Pros- Came with 16GB memory and 1TB drive, expected 8GB memory and 512GB NVMe drive- Tested with 32GB memory SODIMM which also works fine- 4 USB 3.x ports, at least one appears to be Thunderbolt 4 (not tested)- 2.5g Ethernet using an i225 v3 intel chip- Quiet and doesn’t get hot- Comes with Windows 11 Pro installed- Comes with VESA mounting hardware so it can be attached to the back of a computer monitor- Works with Proxmox- Build quality seems solid- UL listed power adapter- In addition to NVMe, it has a place for a 2.5 SATA driveCons- Very limited BIOS options, only the basics, no advanced options at all- Limited vents on the bottom where the memory, NVMe drive, and optional SATA drive are contained.- Uses DDR4 3200 memory which is slower than DDR5, but also less expensiveThere are lots of mini PCs these days, many that use the N100 intel CPU, and all of them are similar. This one is a solid choice in that field for those needing a general purpose office computer that doesn’t need high end graphics. It appears to be of good quality using name brand memory and NVMe drive. The case is solid, yet easy to take apart if one wants to upgrade the memory, the NVMe drive, or add a SATA drive. Not sure if it was a mistake or just an error in the listing, but the model I received had 16GB of memory instead of 8, and a 1TB drive instead of 512GB. I was very pleased with this. The listing stated it had a 1gbps Ethernet port, I was happily surprised that it has a 2.5gbps Ethernet port using the intel i225 v3 chip. For most this will not matter, but if you are using this as a mini server, having the faster network port using an intel controller is a clear benefit. The wireless controller was also intel based.Mini PCs make great small, low powered servers, so I installed Proxmox on a separate drive as a test along with 32GB of memory and had no issues. I was concerned that the BIOS may not have VT-x enabled, as there were no options in the BIOS for VT-x or VT-d (or anything advance). Although I did not test VT-d, I was able to install Proxmox, and ran both Linux and Windows 11 VMs without issue so at least VT-x is enabled. It’s possible there may be some special key sequence that will enable hidden options in the BIOS, but the common key combinations I tried did not work. Perhaps the NIMO would be able to provide this, but I did not contact them yet.The N100 CPU supports both DDR4 and DDR5, however NIMO designed the system for DDR4. DDR4 is a little slower than DDR5, however it’s also less expensive and uses less power. Depending on priorities, this may be a good trade off.I was surprised there were not any ventilation holes on the bottom surface near where the memory and drives are contained. There were vents on the sides, and also having vents on the bottom would have facilitated convective air flow. That said, it didn’t seem like the lower part of the case was particularly warm, even when running an intensive memory test. It’s possible they adjusted the clocking to keep the temperature down.So far it’s been solid with no issues, and I have no reservations recommending this for general office or multimedia use, or even as a small low powered mini server. I noticed there are multiple listings for what appears to be the same system on Amazon, so look around for the best one (color, shipping, etc).
