The camera is powered by DC 5V power supply or rechargeable battery .If you need watch live time,you need install our provided mobile app.The limited distance is within 10 meters by hotspot.The camera with function record,wireless,power turn/off swicth button,infrared,TF card slot,playback,motion detection,push notification on/off,Video Mirror,Video Flipping,Timing record to set specific day,playback,AP mode,internet access etc.But It is NOT waterproof,NOT GPS,5G,NOT need SIM card.It is NO CMS on PC.
Basically, it is wireless working under two modes as below:
- One is AP mode.The camera's WiFi as the hotspot without internet.The camera app can connect to the camera on your smart phone.The video under AP mode is clearer than internet mode .While the working distance under AP mode is limited,about 10 meter or so.If you go out with your pet without internet,you can abserve what your pet see from his "eye".Please note under AP mode working is not available to remote access internet.The distance from your pet to you not too far,or you will not receive the camera's WiFi signal.One more thing,before you go out,please charge the battery about 3 hours to full ,the cam battery can last two and a half hours under motion detection function opened.
- Another mode is to switch from AP mode to Network internet mode. Under this mode,if you need remote observe your pet from smart phone ,she need stay the place where internet WiFi is available.For example she will keep stay in your house or yard where WiFi is available.If you need switch to AP mode again,you need press and hold on the reset button over 6 seconds,the camera will turn to AP mode working status .
- This camera with already a 32GB Memory TF card inside,it can record video and playback from smartphone with sound.But please note the camera is NO speaker inside,so the products has NO function of Press to Talk" from App.That's mean if you talk from App,the camera can't heard your sound.It is no two way talk function.

- The infrared light is not red color or glittering at night during working.

Motion Detection(one of two record mode)
When you open the motion Detection function from app, the camera will record short time period video only the cam detect the move object.It save the battery power and memory card store capacity.
- when you open the motion detection function,the camera will record the video period to many short time video clips on the memory card.
- during motion detection on,and you turn the "Push Notification" button on (from my account of app to set),under Network internet mode,you will receive app push alarm when your pet move.But this push alarm function is NOT working under AP mode.
- Motion Detection Senitivity is optional to choose:Low,Middle or High.
How to enter motion detction setting?
- Click the gear button at upper right corner in app,choose "Alarm setting", and you will find menu "Enable Motion Detection Alarm",Motion Detecton Alarm","Montion detecion sensitivity"
- Please turn this button on if you need record under motion detection function.
- Click "save "at upper right corner
Video Mirror or Flipping function
The camera with mirrow or flipping setting to adjust the video according to different application.
- The mirrow function:to adjust the view effect right and left,it is Horizontally 180 degree to change the video.
- The flipping setting: to adjust the up and down view angle,just like vertically 180 degree jump and turn over the video.
How to enter the setting?
- Click the gear button at upper right corner in app,choose "Basic Settings", and you will find menu "Mirror" or "Flipping"

Using this as a dog collar camera for a working service dog and found several problems, the most significant problem being that the audio and video do not synch up. Minor problems are that the collar mount does not fit a dog collar, though it might fit a cat collar, the collar provided is not big enough to fit a 70 LB dog, and the directions are cryptic at best.The camera requires that you run it through an app and that the cell phone and camera connect via Wifi or Bluetooth. Unless the camera is used solely inside a place where you know the Wifi password, a bluetooth connection between the phone and the camera is required. The app is where you actuate and stop the recording and where you can view the live stream.If your purpose is to record and then view the recording this is not a camera I would recommend.

The only positive I have to say about this is it does kind of work, sometimes. After a bit of hassle, I got the device connected to my phone and showing images. But it's extremely unstable and slow. It repeatedly disconnects, freezes, and crashes. It is, in practice, completely unusable.

I was really surprised by this product. Highly recommended. Good battery life, good audio, good night vision, good video. Small enough to place on top of a cat vest. I would NOT let my cat wear this unattended though.

You can only view the video while you're in the same house as the camera pointless to view while you're not right there where you can actually see your pet

The device is fine. Unfortunately they want you to install a suspicious app called "mycam" (which i suspect to be a rootkit or at least selling user data.) Of course you have to make an account and verify an email address. Unfortunately for you the email never arrives in your inbox. On top of that, most things in the app are either poorly translated English or Chinese. This might be a paperweight without their garbage app unless i can circumvent it.

Really poor image when my dog walk and the cam build in reverse. The collar too small for a medium size dog. So you need to fix it on your dog collar directly. They supply the ties.But good image if you use the cam on a fix place… The range limited by the connection of your phone or the WiFi… If you want to use it for your dog… Forget it!

When you put the collar on the camera ends up being upside down. The only way it works upright the camera is on their back however then it is obstructed by their head so that doesn’t work. Plus it just ends up falling down around to the front of their neck. Not sure who thought this up, but they definitely didn't think it through. Plus the collar itself is somewhat adjustable, but huge. Returned immediately and am still hunting for options.

Bought this on a whim and it paid off in the first viewing. Only bad thing is it didn’t fit my big dog and it barely fit the small dog. We are going to try to switch it to their regular collars but it is definitely worth it. It gives you a totally different perspective. 😂
