This camera has a built-in battery, but it only lasts a little over an hour and a half, so it's worth mentioning that the battery in my opinion, is more for the purpose of allowing you to move the camera, position it, and set up your network, without needing to provide power the whole time. I see people gripe about the battery life, but we are talking about a wifi camera which is barely bigger than 2 Oreo cookies stacked on top of one another. The video quality is probably technically 1080P, but do not expect HD in the same sense you's expect to see it from a high end TV. The Infra Red night vision has a range of about 2-3 feet. again, it's a really small camera, so you cannot expect this thing to illuminate your whole warehouse, back yard, or driveway.Let's talk about what it does excel at. It is a remarkably small camera which is both magnetic, and comes with an innovative mount which can be used with the camera to mount it temporarily, or permanently if you choose to use the included double stick adhesive pads. The camera charges with one of those now-obsolete usb-micro cables instead of an industry standard USB-c cable for whatever reason, but it comes with both a 4" armored / positionable charging arm, and a 3' USB-Micro cable. You will need to provide your own Charging adapter. The cameras utilize a free ap called IWF Cam, which is better than most free camera apps. It is in clear english, and has the basic features you'd need to view these cameras from your iPhone no matter where you are. They will also alert you to motion, and record videos and send it to you should it capture movement. The footage is tolerably clear as long as the ambient light is sufficient. Again, because of the rather lackluster IR illumination capabilities, this camera does not excel at low or no-light surveillance. My one criticism is that I have yet to be able to record to a micro SD card. I have 11 of these cameras, and every one tells me that I need to format the card. If I choose to format it in the camera, it basically stays frozen for a long period of time before telling me that the format failed.I have tried 2, 8, 32, 64, and 128 GB cards of varying brands, and get the same result every time.I've tried to format the cards externally, and no matter what format I choose, the camera doesn't seem to want to write to it. It'll just ask me to format again, then fail. This is the only issue I've had, and I'm still holding out hope for a response from the manufacturer that will help me solve this issue. So why am I giving it a 5 star review?Because you have a camera smaller than, but equal in quality to some of the non-4K cameras sold by the more recognizeable brands, at a price of under $10. That's simply unheard of. Despite their shortcomings, these cameras are incredibly handy for anything from casual surveillance, to monitoring your children in their playroom, or even as a baby monitor. If you plug it into a small phone charging battery pack, you can run the camera wirelessly for as much as a few days.Again, for the price? I feel they over-deliver!If you're expecting an 8K cinema grade camera, you're both unreasonable, and will be disappointed. If you manage your expectations, and don't try to task these cameras with a purpose bigger than they're intended for, I believe you'll be just as happy as I am.

Having four of these wireless 1080P cameras from HPTUX around my place, both inside and outside, makes me wonder why I ever looked at pricier options. They deliver crisp video, and the night vision really comes through when it’s dark. Setup is super simple—no wires, no fuss—and the app connects quickly so you can check in from anywhere. The camera feels well-made and durable, which is impressive at this price. My only tiny gripe is sometimes the motion alerts can be a bit sensitive, but honestly, that’s easy to adjust and the max SD card is 32gb, would be nice if it took a larger capacity card. Overall, for the money and performance, these cameras are a smart buy if you want reliable, hassle-free home security.
