I live in a high rise which has cables all over the wiring closet and wires coming out of every wall. It is nightmare to figure out which cable is which since the last time I connected something to my living room was in 2019 and I thought the wiring had gone bad as I couldn't get it to work the last time I tried. Well with this device I just plugged in one end to a cable in the wiring closet and then went around the home plugging in the other end to each wall until I got a signal. Repeat until the whole home is labeled properly. Now my TV is finally connected direct again and not dropping out due to concrete walls and wifi. Also discovered my guest room has a wiring fault.

Works well on really long cables hidden in walls. Was able to inspect my ethernet cables easily. Has a fast and slow modes that will step through the different ethernet wires at different speeds. Good price too.
