Placed both drive in an Unraid build on a SunMicro/Core i5 mother board. One drive refused to spin up and never connected on SATA or LSI Card. The other kept going through a negotiation failure for SATA 3,2, and 1. It would never connect. I have requested a return, and they have been received by the seller, but know update on my return status. They seller has had the return for 2 days.

So far so good. Using this drive to backup my home NAS and it worked extremely well attached to an external USB storage system. Completed the entire backup with no issues.

Ordered 3 drives. 1 DOA. RMA'd 1 and was sent the same DOA disk I mailed in. The DOA disk makes abnormal sounds. You know right away this disk has mechanical problems. The DOA disk cannot and will not appear in Windows Disk Manager or AOMEI or in Hard Disk Sentinel. The other 2 20TB disks have been working fine. But what good is a 5 year warranty if I am sent a replacement disk that is also DOA and cannot be used....
