Although I do like the sheath and its still holding up, it is of a little cheap construction tho. Gonna have to get a new one soon. The stitching didnt hold long at all. Like, between the top 2 rivets it came loose within days. I did apply some conditioner to the leather, an ended up putting crazy glue on the remaining stitches, that seemed to strengthen up the stitching and the rest just melted into the leather nicely, just dont put lots on it.After a week or so one top rivet came loose, but i actually prefer it that way, as it holds the handle as well now.

Sheath isn't the same one that belongs to the knife. Space is way too thin to fit the blade, and it's much lighter colored. I actually have one of the old sheaths and they work perfectly. Mine is just damaged so I needed d a new one, but the one I received is useless.

i work at a dillons/kroger in the produce department and i don't like the plastic sheaths they provide (can't pull the knife out with one hand) and the leather holsters they have for box cutters (used to put a box cutter and my produce knife in one of those at the same time) work but i destroyed so many of those by cutting them apart with my produce knife that i just got tired of it. DO NOT pull your knife out of this sheath then use it to prepare food without washing the knife first, this is just for quick display prep out on the floor, not for preparing things ready to eat. works great with dexter produce knives, as it should. comes a little tight, but just twist the knife in the sheath some to loosen it up a little and the knife will be held tight but still pull out with one hand.

Very light leather makes belt slots a worthless addition as it flops about excessively. More useful as a blade protector than anything else, an expensive lightweight blade protector. If you’re looking for a sheath, don’t buy this one. If you just want a blade covered, this’ll do.

This sheath is basically fine. Good strips of leather with decent riveting, cut nicely. It works. The problem was the giant retail sticker plastered on the front. The industrial strength adhesive goop absolutely destroyed the surface and finish of an otherwise nice leather sheath before I could get it off. What a stupid way to ruin an otherwise fine sheath.

Not the dimensions stated in the description. Even if it were 2” wide, the rivets make the usable width considerably smaller. Cheap quality too, and the fold is too tight to fit anything.

The sheath totally meets my expectations. The only problem is with the design of the knife and sheath. A produce knife is a square knife not pointed knife. If you don't push it straight down into the sheath, the corners of the blade go into the edge of the sheath and get stuck at the rivet. I'd also like to have instructions telling me what I could use on the leather that is food safe.
