This was a really good buy. Seems solid and like it will last, even with my rough toddler. This brand is always good quality. Our felt pieces stuck perfectly to the felt side.

The white board/felt board is sturdy and great to use. The base that holds it is very flimsy and broke as soon as we took it out of the box.

The white board and felt board are great quality. The folding piece feels sturdy. The case to help them stand and for storage however was garbage. It was broken as I took the piece out of the box. The small nails came off taking the back apart from the rest. I had to go buy some nails and fix the back to stay on. Little upsetting for how much I paid but I can still use to boards when I have something else standing it up

Fantastic product.. love the size of it, and versatility. I used it on our table the first day with some new sight words for my son, stuck on the white side with strong magnets. The white side (wipe off side) is also magnetic... very handy! Also I found out by accident, when I left the room and my son came in and "played school" while I was gone, that the "washable markers" (crayola probably) work well onto the white side! You just need to wash it off with damp washcloth then a dry one! Which was good because I couldn't find my dry erase markers, and the chemical smell of those always bothers me too! So I'm very happy to have learned this and I'll be using his markers from now on!I gave it only 4 stars because it is NOT SOLID WOOD! It says WOOD several times in the description.. I believe they are referring to possibly a pressed wood (unsure what is inside) but it is clearly made from a thin laminate stuck onto something else.. I'm familiar with solid wood as well as plywood and this is neither. Its a manmade material, at least the outer part that you see is.. made to look like varnished wood, but its not. I knew this going into the purchase, from another reviewer, so I was ok with it. I think its still worth the purchase price... But be aware of it. I'd have gladly paid $20 more for solid wood however and think that would have made the product more durable. Not sure how long it will look nice, but I love everything else about it. If anyone else knows a similar product that is made from solid wood I'd be interested.

I bought this as a tabletop easel for my kids (and hopefully I) to use, and it's great as an easel. Although I am currently using it more as a small white board. In fact, I'm finding that I don't want to paint on it too much because I don't want the paint to accidentally get on the side of my awesome small white board! It's been very useful to have a compact white board around for explaining or working on problems together. We homeschool, so this comes up a lot, but doesn't every household need a whiteboard to break-out and work through discussions with?I also hoped to use it to help correct my daughter's fist-grasp into a more age-appropriate (for a five year old) tripod or other three-finger hold. Our occupational therapist recommended that she write on a vertical or near-vertical surface (or draw, paint, whatever) because it's more comfortable to use a three-finger hold in this position than on a flat table top surface. In addition to being a wonderful white board, this is also a great easel... if you can bear to paint on it. It's heavy and doesn't easily move when touched. The bottom is a removable drip-tray. It folds up easily, although the velcro strap that keeps the drip tray attached to the easel will probably get lost at some point, which will be annoying. But you are probably more responsible than I am and won't loose yours. We haven't used the felt side yet, but I'm excited to play with that as well. We have some pre-cut felt fractions as well as felt dolls and animals, so I'm sure the kids will set up some interesting scenes with those, as well as cut out the felt scraps we have in the house into their own designs. What's included:-tabletop easel that can be adjusted slightly and is designed to sit inside the included drip tray-drip tray, which is also made of white board material-felt board, which is what is on the reverse side of the dry erase board-velcro strap to hold the easel, folded, inside the drip tray bottomno felt cut outs or fabric is included, other than the attached felt to the reverse side of the dry erase boardI'm not sure how to easily attach paper to the top of the easel, for painting. I'm currently using masking or painters tape.It is fairly large for a table top easel, which I found delightful as I'm not limited to the standard 9x11 paper. So be sure to check the measurements to be sure this is the size you are looking for.

This is a very handy and nice felt/magnetic/dry erase board. It offers plenty of activity space (measures 17.5" L x 15.75" H), yet conveniently folds up flat into its base for quick storage. Unlike many other children's activity easels, this one is uncluttered and simple, making set-up/take-down for both adults or kids a super easy process. One reviewer commented the frame boards and base are not really made of wood, as advertised. The sides do seem to be made out of some type of engineered wood, and the storage base bottom is a very thick, but strong particle board. I don't view this as a particular problem, especially considering the easel only costs around $30. It seems well built and sturdy. This easel provides a lot of fun. The kids enjoy using T.S. Shure toy magnets and Little Folk Visuals felt figures with it. I enjoy quiet, creative play and easy pick-up afterwards.

I looked at a LOT of dry erase easel boards for my son before I decided on this one, and I'm glad I did. This is very sturdy, made of real solid wood and the Velcro strap that holds it together is heavy duty. I love that it can fold flat if I need it to (though my son is always using it, so it's always in the up position). We use the space underneath to store magnets and dry erase crayons. I also bought some train magnets to go along with this, and my son uses the whiteboard to draw tracks and scenes for his trains. I like that there is felt on the opposite side instead of messy chalkboard. This is very well made and will last through both my all my kids, unlike the cheap plastic ones. It isn't a small toy, but it small enough to fit on the little square table in my kid's room. I would buy this again.
