I hadn't realized when I ordered it that I would have to assemble. The instruction booklet showed illustrations throughout the process BUT the most improtant part -- which surface, whiteboard or blackboard, should go with the bottom piece that has extra holes -- was not indicated. As a result, after I assembled and I compared to this page's photos, I understood I had it backwards. That is, assuming that the screw-in bar at the bottom with the green knobs is for holding paper in place, I've got it on the wrong side.. It should not matter if the black board surgface under the paper doesn't disturb coloring on the paper (it is slightly textured) or get damaged if my grandson presses too hard on whatever he is using to write with.Regardless, this is a beautiful easel. It is solid and well made. The gray color is very nice and the addition of baskets for storage is very smart.I am very plesaed -- I just recommend updating the instructions slightly.

My toddler loves this easel, we previously had a collapsible easel but it was a process to disassemble just to fold it aside.This one is really beautiful and sturdy, packed well and there are no missing or damaged pieces, the seller also provided me with extra screws, It took me about 45 minutes to put together with my toddler's help, she was beyond excited and in a hurry to get painting

If your youngen likes art, this is for you~! If not, this will encourage them to get up and be creative~! Its good and sturdy, I say that because its been two days with my heathens and its still stnding~! Its the perfect size for a wide range of ages. It went together super easy and it looks very inviting, even to the littlest ones because of the hight adjustment they can reach the whole canvas or chalkboard.. If they are happy, Im happy~☆☆☆☆☆

We chose the easel with the roll of paper, and this has been very helpful in allowing the kids imagination go whild on paper. Assembling was pretty easy although it did take about 30 mins or so (from unpacking to using). The materials are sturdy and perfect for toddlers. I hope this keeps them away from drawing on the walls and furniture, but you can never discourage a childs healthy experiences especially at such young age. Highly recommend!

This is a great buy for anyone with toddlers that enjoy doing arts and crafts with paint and markers. This easel is nice looking and well made. The open shelf at the bottom for bins is nice for organizing materials. I love the paper roll holder at the top. My granddaughter has had a good time with this easel, switching from chalk to marker side.Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Regret ordering due to serious flaws/product failure.2 Stars: I wouldn't order again because product is subpar.3 Stars: Not my personal preference. I'd choose an alternative product if I could but this is ok.4 Stars: Recommend ordering. This product met my expectations.5 Stars: I love this product.

My two boys, who are 4 and 7 years old, love this for drawing. It’s actually better made than I anticipated it would be. Quality is great when considering the price. I like the two totes on the bottom for markers and chalk storage. Great to use for school as well and learning how to write words and letters. I would recommend!
