By employing the use of a 100% magnesium alloy structure, the TSN-99 PROMINAR series spotting scope is one of the most compact and lightweight in its class of large objective spotting scopes making it more portable than many other models.

This is a very large objective scope, and while there are a few that are even larger, I don't think I'd be comfortable lugging around anything bigger/heavier than the 99mm. Extremely sharp image even zoomed in to 70x. Other than it being very large and somewhat heavy, it's about perfect.
