Plastic used is too flexible and mount is loose. The plastic around the height adjustment spreads apart and the screw and washer fall through.

I bought this to replace my Scotty mount for my canoe.This does the job, but it's extremely flimsy and shake.So much to the point where I didn't feel comfortable leaving the fishfinder on it.The transducer part was also extremely flimsy and would bend back while trolling.Ended up just using the mount and parts of my Old scotty mount to just mount the transducer.Ended up placing the fishfinder on the center seat

I bought to use this on my kayak and when Iโ€™m moving in the water itโ€™s flimsy and doesnโ€™t give a good reading when Iโ€™m stopped or barely creeping it works just fine. Iโ€™ve decided to duck seal the transducer into the hull
