The cards are beautiful but I wasn't impressed with the deception it says it come with a guide book I received a sheet of paper with fine print not a book, so very disappointed I'll say 🥺 they are not easy to grip to.

I'm new to tarot cards. There not to big but not to small either. There's a little instruction pamphlet to explain the different cards. Plus I got on u tube to see exactly how it's done. I'm excited to learn how to read them. I'm happy with the cards. I would buy again.

TL;DR I have no explanation, Scroll to end for a normal person review.First deck, very much a novice. Preface over, why is the "shimmer, Holographic, foil" effect A recurring trend in a lot of different style decks. I was admiring the artwork and how nice the cardstock felt, shuffling through,Very excited to start the learning process and figuring how much information I need to know, off in my own headspace, the sunlight starts sneaking across my floor and meets its new besties! The refraction off the card I was currently admiring (The Magician) almost gave me lasik surgery.. and I defiantly can't affod that. After doing the most EPIC dodge of my life, I dropped the deck...face up...78 Pick up, but its a sea of mirrored surfaces and curtains are wide open to ALL THE SUNLIGHT!~Do you remember the disposable cameras from our youth? Take 27 pictures, most of which are just testing that it worked so all the angles are weird and distorted. But anywho, after you were finished with all the photos that remain permantly on the film roll and are still out there somewhere, in the bottom of a box no one has ever opened. prob in a shed or something. You could smack the camera on your palm and make the Flash go off every time you hit it, which obviously and ironically now that I think about it, you used that tactic of clapping the blindness in to your friend or sibling, Children don't have empathy, flash clapping trying to be sneaky and make sure you get them unaware and wide eyed.*I was a kid at the time, but I'm pretty sure epilepsy wasn't a fully recognized thing. Turns out flash clapping turns some people into fish out of water, which is an awful way to describe seizures and makes me giggle.Karma for my awful joke in3...2..`````There was nothing I could do, My vision was the same as CH 3, static white noise given form in my retinas. When I made it across the room that felt like it was cooking me under a magnifying glass, I had to look out the window or in any direction away from the glare. Honestly,..I'm pretty sure my eyes are byakugan (Naruto). I've decided thats what happened, If this is what the Hyuga clan goes thru just to see, no wonder theyre so serious.Unknown amount of time later, all the static and white void I had endured was fading. and that maked me really dizzy fr.Eyes adjusted, I can see the curtain clearly now, I close it and look over to my brand new lovely tarot cards, and my dog, unaffected, shaded the whole time laying in the corner of the room staring, judging, she sneezes at me twice. Me: "Yea I'm fine just give me a second".I like to believe what Sue (doggo) was trying to say with her sneezes is something like "U good broski?"Turned out she had to go out and I was just taking too long being all dramatic.I decided to Gift it to someone wearing sunglasses, they seemed happy about it.____________That got away from me...The foil glare turned out to be something my eyes couldnt focus on. I probably need lasik(too pricey)Cards are beautiful, feel great. Cardstock feels very comfortable. My sensitive eyes made it too uncomfortable. I decided to gift them to a good friend of mine. Foil didn't seem to bother her at all. Seems to be a popular design aspect with cards I've noticed..Idgi

The cards: As stated in other reviews, the cards are thick and could be difficult to shuffle, but the quality is good and artwork is beautiful- when you look in the right light. The "holographic" effect takes away from the pictures - everything looks gray without abundant proper lighting.. and then they are almost too shiny/reflective. Still-for the price, they've exceeded my expectations. The book: Huge contrast in quality when compared to the cards. It's actually just a single, long piece of paper, folded into a brochure of card descriptions with tiny print, like an instruction manual for DIY furniture or new appliances.

Cute holographic deck. Low quality for the price. Energetically flat. I had higher hopes.

This was one of the first tarot decks I have bought and I am very pleased with it. It is easy to use and comes with a list on how to place the cards, what each card means, and how to read it. I got a second deck of this set because my first one got water damage and I would say so far this is my go to tarot deck. I love the way that the cards look they have kind of a holographic shine to them. Definately good for beginners and anyone who is interested in tarot.

Pretty cards. I like that they are easy to shuffle and they are thick enough that they dont bend and create creases. Review update: 10/2/22. After using the cards for a while they have become a pain in the butt! They are thee most difficult to shuffle and they bend so much and for some reason the feel like they have expanded as they are super thick and hard to shuffle all at once. I have to split the deck in half in order to shuffle.
