油の量を抑えつつ深さも確保できるので、そこは期待通り。ただ、直径17cm程度なので揚げ物を置く網を置いてしまうと、揚げ物を引き上げるときに邪魔過ぎて使いにくい。フォンデュもやってみた。くっつかないし、使い心地はいいのだけど、蓋をしてしまうと、食材が見えにくくなってチーズを付けにくい。

持つとずしっと重さを感じますが、卓上でオイルフォンデュに用いるのでコンロから動かない安心感があります。蓋のおかげで油の飛び散りもほとんどありません。お勧めです。

重さがあるのから安定はあるし深いので心配なく少量の油で唐揚げを作りました。熱伝導率も良いので、買って良かった。保管は、洗ってから内側に少量の油をつけて布で拭いておしまいです。そのまんま箱に入れて。使いやすいです。

IHでも使用出来ます。初めて家で卓上串揚げをしました。串揚げ用の蓋のおかげで油の飛び散り無し。串も沈まず、三人家族で揚げながら食べるのに丁度良いサイズです。カラリと揚がり、胸焼けもせず、家族にも美味しいと好評でした！メンテナンスは、油を捨ててお湯洗いしコンロで熱して乾かしました。蓋の裏には油が飛んでいたので軽く拭き取るだけです。南部鉄器は分厚くて重いけど、分厚いおかげでIHで使っても変型しないし、何より美味しく仕上がります。
