I purchased 2of these kits, one for me and the other as a gift. I opened my box immediately and wanted to make sushi. The kit is easy to use, and I made several different types of sushi. Sushi looked like the type you get when in an expensive restaurant. I need more practice, the rolls were loose. It's FUN!!

I had so much fun making sushi with this kit (even though I'm not very good) and using the mold to make onigiri. But the real star of the show is the included knife. It has quickly become my absolute favorite kitchen knife in terms of quality and appearance; it slices through everything so easily and is the perfectly balanced blade for all kitchen tasks. I would buy it again just for the knife alone.

This is a nice kit. I have no idea what to use certain pieces of the kit for. It didn’t come with instructions and there is nothing on YouTube for this particular kit. The mats work fine, the bazooka works great. Chopsticks are nice. No idea what the triangle things are for and there are two rectangular items, one must be for nigiri no clue what the other is for.

Unfortunately, one of the rolling mats looked like it had mold or something while still unwrapped. (No jokes that it says it comes with sushi mold.) But when I contacted them they offered to send replacement the next day. And TBH, the whole kit is a bargain even without that one mat! The family LOVED the little ducks to rest chopsticks on. It really has way more than you need. You can roll sushi without the bazooka, but it's a helpful way to smoosh a lot of deliciousness into the right shape.
