This is my 2nd unit for the Sequoia. My first purchase began to fail and the right signals were blinking inconsistently. Tapping it fixed it temporarily. This unit is a different brand (and look). I can only hope it lasts longer than the 9 months from previous model.

For 2005-2010 Scion tC, you will need to clip the longer, small black tabs to match the profile of the original flasher. It takes a few seconds to do with a pair of scissors or snips. The loudness, when turn signals are on, is fine, close to the stock sound. No complaints here and this fixed my new LED bulbs I had installed.

It completely controlled the signal speed and solved hyperflash caused by upgrading turn signal to leds. installing it is a matter of reaching up under the steering wheel, I took of the lower instrument panel, and it wasn't overly complicated. The hardest part is pulling the old relay out. It is possible to reach under the steering wheel and adjust the potentiometer after it's been installed which is great for making adjustments. Also for crosstrek owners I have read that this may not be a solution for 2018+ models because the relay was replaced and controlled by the ECU.
