This meter is working out nicely for me. It refreshes so much more often than the smaller little display units I have. This one polls 8 times per second and refreshes the screen once per second. You can observe this simply by breathing on it!It's a bit irritating that it doesn't remember settings. Each time you power off, the unit defaults back to Celsius and Auto Power Off. To get to Fahrenheit is a single button push but to disable Auto Power Off, you need to power on with the Hold button depressed and hold the power button until APO disappears. But I am not using this continuously for any purpose, just a for a few minutes at a time, so this doesn't really amount to a major issue for me at all.In terms of accuracy, it generally agrees with the majority of my other devices.The base is flat enough that the meter can stand upright on a table, but there isn't much weight at all, so it can easily tip in more chaotic environments.I think it's well worth the cost, especially if you want or need rapid readings.

This is a nice handheld temperature and humidity measuring device. I don't have any way of measuring its accuracy but it matches the reading of other thermometers in my household so it seems to be accurate. The design looks like a walkie talkie.There are a couple of minor details that could be improved, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The device defaults to metric units (celsius) when powered on. You can press the "unit" button to get fahrenheit but it will not remember your preference, and will start up in metric when powered on again. It also powers off after 15 minutes. The plastic case works fine when held in your hand, but it is tapered at the bottom which makes it a bit unstable when left standing up. A light breeze could easily blow it over. The esthetics of it are not really suitable for use on a desk or table.
