I purchased four of this model of temperature and humidity guage last summer (2023). When new, all four gave identical readings when kept side by side. Seven months later, using the same test,nagain with fresh batteries, when three read 29% humidity the fourth reads 15% and its temperature reading is 2 degrees lower than the others. Verdict: this product should be reliable, but Honeywell's quality control is only 75% reliable. I would not have expected a solid state guage to degrade so quickly. Moral of the story: when purchasing moderately priced measuring devices, buy several and test them together at regular intervals. The alternative is to buy a laboratory grade guage at a MUCH higher price and test it regulary against an even better laboratory grade device at an even higher price...

I own two. The older one is eight years old and i think I only changed the battery once. If you have a baby, buy this, put it in their room and stop wondering if your kid is too cold or too hot.

Very happy with my purchase, I wanted to monitor my new home to see if any areas were either too dry or too humid, and this tool comes in handy. I let it for a couple days in each room and watch what it looks like when I walk by, it is easy to read as the numbers are big enough to read from a distance.It is small enough to be put on any tablet, the range chart under is a nice addition instead of just showing numbers.I mostly use it in my basement to see if I need to turn on my dehumidifier now, as it is on the other side of the basement, and so far when my dehumidifer stops at 50% this usually shows 50/51.I also liked the fact that it came with a battery as it was definitely not the most expensive one.Regarding the temperature, there is a single button at the back to switch the reading between C and F

The Enviracaire E10 digital humidty/temperature indicator is a practical product, inexpensive and effective. We purchased three in August so we could monitor more accurately the temperatures in various rooms in our home during an unusual (for our area) heat wave. They are easy to read, don't take up a lot of room, and will be useful throughout the year.Temp

Bought three and placed them side-by-side for weeks. Temp readings are within a degree and close enough for me. Humidity percent readings within 4 units. Backsides are not flat so they are not suitable for hanging on a wall. Also may not be suitable for inside an instrument (guitar) case. Knew all that when I bought them so no complaint. But I took one apart one and I was disappointed that nothing inside is adjustable. The cost of a part or two should be minimal so I don't understand why not.

This does exactly what I wanted it to do: It tells me the humidity in a room, with a pretty graph on the front indicating what's good and bad for reference. It also tells me the temperature in a room, which is handy for other reasons.I bought this with a cute . :)

We purchased this after searching for a temperature gauge that would be accurate for our infants bedroom. We've had it for 2 weeks, and so far it's been right on track to what we have set our air conditioner to. Much cheaper than the cutesy temp gauges they sell in stores, does the job, and doesn't appear to eat batteries. Great buy :o)

I liked the large digital display, and from reading what others have said and what I'd investigated on my own (this is made by Honeywell, a reputable company)I decided to buy it. This would have been a 5 star item from me had the price of shipping not been positively outrageous. The item itself was approx. $11.00, which is very fair--then to ship this thing which barely weighs a couple of ounces, they charge you practically ANOTHER $11.00. I know, I asked for it, and I got it; but I still say, in retrospect, I'd have preferred getting one of the other hygrometers (I already had ordered another as I want one in the front of the house and one in the bedroom)at a DECENT shipping cost (it was $4.00 shipping for the other brand. My recommendation... do NOT pay nearly $12.00 for this thing in shipping fees--it's positively ridiculous.

I have been looking for Humidity/Temperature for long long timeBelieve it or not, they usually goes between 40-50 range in retailThis one is very good price and it does its jobit doesnt have light up for screen but I didn't expect that muchback of this unit is not flat so it is not easy to stick to the wallbut it is small enough to place anywhereI bought 2 of these and compare those 2 after few minute later out of boxthey both come out same number for temp and humidityso at least no calibration differenceit is small and simple and do its jobwill buy again if needed
