I have always used Hoya filters. The only Neg, is that they uses to use a cool round plastic case. Which was not much bigger than the filter. Now they have a cheaper square one. Which in my opinion is crap. But as the filter will be on the lens most of the time, then not really a problem....

Not a lot to say, it serves a perfect purpose on my m4/3 12-40mm lens. It allows me to get extended exposure for landscapes and really saturate the skies. It also allows for wider apertures for decreased DOF in my outdoor portraits. It sits low enough profile that at the wide end there is no vignetting. And the element is also set high enough that there is no contact with the curved element on wider lens choices. I have more expensive variable filters but this is a great everyday lens for me in AZ.

ND 4 is seldom enough alone but if it is added to an 8 for instance or another ND it is great for finer control. As usual great fit and finish from Hoya.

What can I say? It's a filter, it fits my lenses easily, and works as promised. All anyone could want from a good filter. Having bought other Hoya filters before, they've become one of the top brands I trust.
