These seem like good quality compared to the OEM Honeywell. You can see from photos comparing the original Honeywell filters to this one. Honeywell filters are thicker with more "fluff" which may absorb more water and last longer They also have a nicer blue pre filter.However, for the cost of these filters you should still come out ahead vs going with the original. As even if they only last half as long the price would make up for switching them out more often. I also like that these come individually packaged so they should stay "fresh" whereas Honeywell is just loose in the plastic.Review is based on item quality alone. I will update the review when the dry season approach's here and put these to the test!

These work ok for a week or so then they start to not soak water up into the humidifier. They dry out and then refuse to absorb the water for the humidifier to do it's job.

These filters work as well as the name brand replacements for my Honeywell humidifier. We have hard water, so unfortunately, no filter holds up more than 3 weeks or so, but these are half the cost of the brand named version, so it's nice to have a more economical option.

I had to get out a box cutter and trim about 1/2" off of the filter so that it would fit. Once I did that it worked well.

These filters are a huge disappointment for me. I hoped to find a less expensive option for the filters for our Honeywell humidifier. Our water is on the hard side (not excessively so) and a Honeywell branded filter for this model didn’t even make it a complete month before it hardens and will not soften up, so it stops working. I flip the filter as directed in the instructions twice a day when refilling. These off brand filters were a poor substitute. First, they are too thick and don’t fit correctly. I have to press them in and mess with them to get the filter holder to close, and even so it’s difficult to close. Then the filter works ok for 2-3 days. At that point, hardness that can’t be remedied starts to become a problem, along with discoloration and odor. I never have odor with the Honeywell filters, and only slight discoloration when approaching 4 weeks. I replaced this filter after ONE WEEK. I would not buy these again.

These filters are not effectively maintaining consistent moisture levels for proper operation. Despite several days of use and frequent flipping attempts to encourage even saturation, the top portion of the filter dries out rapidly. This persistent issue has led me to conclude that these filters are unsuitable for my needs, and I will be purchasing a brand-name alternative.
