I use them for our humidifier need to change them every month it could be our water supply that causes them not to work for a longer time. I feel they are pricey for the time they last.

A little pricey, but effective. Use distilled water if you expect these to last more than a few weeks. I see this item can also be purchased in a used condition. Maybe it's me, but for only a dollar less I find it hard to shell out money for a filter already crusty with someone else's filth. Call me crazy but I'll pony up the extra dollar for a new one.I already got burned on a 12 pack of used paper towel rolls (which weren't even on the cardboard tube thing, by the way) and while admittedly quite the bargain, they were soaking wet and smelled awful. I just threw them out.

I use this everynight, here in the Las Vegas dry heat. It helps me sleep better and no more bloody noses. They need to be changed every month or 2. They get hard from our hard water. I tried using distilled water, but it also would crust up, just not as fast.I will continue to buy these. I tried the other generic brands and they last half as long, at best.

It's the OEM replacement for the wicks. Best price for my need. I just wish they would last longer. My place is so dry the humidifier has been on 24/7 and unless I turn it up to max it struggles to keep humidity above 25%. I currently have to replace the filter every month because of this.

Honeywell T filters can be hard to find, even on Amazon, so sometimes when you do find them here they can be expensive. Fortunately, though, most of the time they are reasonably priced. I really haven’t noticed any difference between the actual Honeywell T filters and the generic ones, but either can be so hard to find I’m prone to buying whichever is available.
