I got this as a thc grinder . Not a good pick. Balls all up . Would be great for other herbs 🌿 and great for coffee. It is super powerful. Just not for what I needed.

I dry my own onion skins and grind them for onion powder. This thing burned out and stopped working in the first use. I didn’t even fill it 1/4 of the way and in the second fill up it just stopped working and the bottom felt hot. Totally garbage. Spend more money in a better quality!

Great little grinder for whatever you need to grind. Received two of these as the first one didn’t work, however the company stepped up and quickly replaced the first one. The first one worked but the button didn’t depress far enough to engage the motor so more an issue with the cap than the device. At any rate the replacement worked flawlessly. I love to create seasonings so this works perfectly for that as I’ve been using a coffee grinder which we also use for coffee and don’t always get all the coffee out so this allows us to keep the two separate. My latest is a salsa verde that’s made from freeze dried tomatillos, dehydrated roasted hatch green chilies, lime powder and a few other dried ingredients. Super tasty stuff.Overall this grinder is a great buy.

My test for this product were some unshelled pistachios. The goal was for the grinder to chop them up for me but not turn them into dust. What I ended up with was pistachio dust and several still nearly whole pieces. I even tried to pulse the grinder cautiously but still ended up with dust.If you do want your spices to be completely pulverized with no texture, this grinder may work for you. If you want a bit of control, this is not it. The other issue is cleaning. Since it grinds everything so finely the grinder bowl is really hard to clean out, even with the included brush. You can't run the grinder bowl under water and I'm sure you don't want leftover cinnamon mixing with your minced onion. It would be so awesome if these grinders came with a removable blade/bowl section. Overall, not a good product and I know there are better options out there.
