This is an interesting item. It's quite thing, and daisy shaped. It freezes quickly, which is nice. It fits great on my head and fits easily under a hat. As others mentioned, the cooling effect only lasts 10-15 minutes before you'd need to freeze it again. That is enough to cool me down in the summer after a walk, which is nice. Given the shape I noticed it fits nicely on my knees and elbows too if I ever need to ice them from injury. I have purchased migraine ice hats before, and this could be a similar idea to give some headache relief too.

This perfect size to fit the top of your head and put a hat on. Working in the heat, this is so helpful. Small enough to keep in cooler. Has been very durable

As the gel material is quite thin and there are so many contact points, even if you freeze this, you'll get (at most) 30 mins of cool time (dependent on weather and your activity). I can definitely see this being used at construction sites where they have access to a freezer or fridge, so that they can pop this in and recharge the coolness. Otherwise, for most people, you would most likely use this at home instead of on the go (unless you freeze this and pop it in a cooler with an ice pack). I tried to freeze this, put in a cooler and bring it to the golf range as it was about 95 degrees that day, after 15 mins of use, it didn't do anything anymore. It would definitely work for yard work where you can pop it on and once the cooling is done, rinse it off and pop it back in the freezer to be ready for round 2. If you've got disposable income and willing to spend some extra, get 3 of these and swap them out during your outdoor work and you will definitely stay cool even in the sweltering heat.

I like the idea and think the design is nice. It is light weight, covers a large area and doesn’t take up a lot of room under a hat. The head cooler would be better if it was a little thicker or made with a substance that stayed cooler longer. I put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and within 3 to 4 minutes it was back to its original temperature. Directions are included in the package.

I used this head cooler during a recent trip to Miami and Key West, where daily temperatures were in the high 90s and felt like 106 (according to the weather app and it did feel that way). Unfortunately, it was too thin to do much, as I barely felt cooler wearing this under my cap.

I'm always looking for cooling products so I can comfortably be outside if I want to, which is hard with heat intolerance. This works right at the crown of the head under a hat, where you can get especially hot. It helps cool down faster than fans or other cooling products I've tried. Tip: if you have thick hair, make sure it is down before you use thus. Otherwise the cool has to penetrate all that hair and it takes much longer to work.
