The left bracket does not stay in place. Either the pre-drilled mounting hole is in the wrong place or the bracket support arm is in the wrong place. Almost lost an entire tray of smoked beef ribs noticed that the left arm had swung to the closed position as I was about to put the ribs on the shelf.

Very weak front shelf, and I was sent two left brackets instead of a left and a right..

Simple install with removal and replacement of two screws. The shelf comes in a bit low on the smoker, but that is a smoker problem, not a shelf issue. They shipped me the same bracket (2 left side brackets) but it works just fine this way. I am not sure if they actually have different parts or this is the expected function.I bought a shelf as well, but I think I may get another one of these with some bolts and make a shelf for inside the smoker as well. This seems to be better priced than the smoker shelf.

Was a bit confusing to install as you have to make sure everything lines up so that it actually fits properly. The supports are a bit flimsy but seem seems to hold up when I put a baking tray on top to use as my working surface.

This is a nice product, but mine doesn't fit perfectly. It still works, so I didn't return it. It's nice to have that extra space.
