When a square pattern is needed, this is a well made sprinkler. However, the spray is uneven with heavy spray shooting out of two corners and other areas getting hardly any water. Manufacturer should test and refine the spray hole arrangement(I think).

Wow, barely worth $6 I paid, but for the wrong reason. The metal in this is half the gauge of the Nelson, making it flimsy and too lightweight. And the nozzle holes are smaller, so it can't even span 14' square.Luckily, the vane is the same, so I stole it off the Gilmour and put it on the Nelson for a sprinkler that can cover 35' square on my 30-50psi well pump pressure. I won't send it back for that reason only.My Nelson sprinkler of the exact same shape lost the rubber bushing holding the top vane centered so it ovaled the center hole. The Nelson is twice the weight, so the hose can't overturn it as easily.I highly recommend the Nelson and can =not= recommend the Gilmour sprinkler.

This is a great little sprinkler for the money. I originally wanted to re-order the Dramm Green Metal 15024 sprinkler I recently purchased on Amazon, but the price had increased from $24 to $35 in about a week's time and I only needed the central 360* water feature, which is all this sprinkler has. I would guess that it broadcast a diameter of about 16'. It can be linked in series with another sprinkler. Like I said, good price for what it is and it works just fine. Sorry about being raked on the price increase of the other one, but that happens w/ Amazon sometimes.

At the beginning of Summer I bought one of these and one of another brand. Now it is Fall and this one is still in great working order. The other brand is in the trash. I bought a second one of the Gilmour sprinklers and they work great. Smooth spread, light weight, doesn't get rusty and all around great product.

Thirty years ago, the spinning fins were thin steel.-Now, they are delicate aluminum. If you drop it or bump the fins, they easily bend.I have a decent eye, twisted and bent the crooked fin back. It works the same.-Was really cheap!!! So, I got what I needed.(One of the spray holes may be a little wide.)The far right corner overshoots a little.Very small issue, better than a Round sprinkler!Read some reviews, unsure of durability. Hope it lasts!

We have a curvy yard to water and what works best are a square spray sprinklers with low water flow. Most of these square sprinklers work fine for large areas but fail the small space test. I bought a couple Gilmour Square Pattern Vane Sprinkler 832's and they work fine. Their high volume water dispersion pattern is a little ununiform but I can live with that.

Has a good reach and durable. Had one like it but spinners broke do to it being plastic. The metal spinner is great!
