I used Czur ET 16 Plus forseveral months before getting rid of it and buying ScanSnap. I should have dumped it earlier. You just cannot imagine how happy I am now with SV600. The quality of the scan, the consistency of the scan, the ease of use - I just cannot be happier now. I am still a bit shaky with the ScanSnap Home but that's just because I use it intuitively without going through manual. What made me buy ScanSnap was one of the revews posted here earlier, the owner was scanning books, exactly what I was struggling with when using my Czur.

I needed something that would do a good job of scanning oversized yearbooks, this works amazingly well. I did need to boost the height a little and that worked very well. Now I can scan up to A2 size without any problems other than needing to correct/crop or rescan a few images sometimes.For the price this does exactly what it is intended to do. The software works very well and does a great job of flattening the book images most of the time. Overall I am very happy and extremely satisfied with the quality and results I have gotten with the SV600. The quality of the images is very good after playing with the adjustments a little. Books and magazines come out nearly perfect.
