This is a refurbished, out of support scanner. I bought it on the recommendation of someone who had a few of them and swore they worked well. He had the original distribution DVD with the original software so he had no issues. The one I bought came with no drivers or software. When I tried to install, I could not find drivers on the Internet. The firmware seems to be set so that you have to go to the Internet to get the drivers, but the internet systems say they don't recognize the out-of-support printer and offer no alternatives. I ended up returning the scanner.

Basically useless. Arrived without installation CD.This cannot be downloaded from the internet.(too old)

This scanner is an out of date, discontinued model, that no longer has drivers available for it. It was priced great, but after spending an afternoon trying to find any working driver, even off some "questionable" sites, I returned it. Manufacturer website clearly states it is no longer supported and drivers not available. Only useful to someone who has this model, it broke, but you already own the software to operate it.

I should have read the reviews! This scanner has been discontinued and will not work without the software which is not available. It is not a plug-and-play scanner.

I love how simple this scanner is once you're able to get it working. I had issues connecting it to the driver program. I was able to get it connected after installing scansnap manager (1/31/2023 version of the installer) after trying scansnap home. I have both on and it's working so I don't know if you need both or just manager. Either way, love it for the value.

I ordered this refurbished scanner. On arrival the power cord was too big to fit into the scanner. I checked Amazon to see if they could send me the correct power cord, but they said they didn’t handle this and I needed to contact the manufacturer. A Fujitsu contact was listed on the support page. On calling this number, I was redirected to a company wanting to sell me a Medicare Supplement package! I contacted Fujitsu directly and they said this scanner was from 2011. They no longer sell, support or have the ability to download the software for it in order to work. Only recourse is to return it for a refund. Be careful. Don’t order this.

Could not really judge this product because I couldn't get it to work. Some documentation, drivers, or links to how to make this work would have been appreciated. I messed around for three days before giving up. If you have a Mac or older Windows computer or the drivers or patches to make this work you might have a bargain here.

to be an older model, it set right up with no issues. at times it likes to take in more than 1 sheet of paper, so I have to watch it, but other than that and it being a tad bit slow, it's great
