Foodoir Pro 145mm ND32 Filter is a true neutral density filter designed to darken the image by 5 stops. The filter features an even, neutral gray color for creative photography applications. ND32 filter offers a 5-stop EV value which allows you to slow down the shutter speed or use a larger aperture in bright light conditions. Neutral Density filters have their unique applications and offer the possibility of achieving otherwise impossible results. ND filters reduces the amount of light reaching the film/CCD. The filter is double threaded and thinner than a standard filter to minimize any possibility of vignette when used with WonderPana Classic and WonderPana Free Arc 145mm filter holders. The optic is coated to correct for color balance as well as minimize reflection at the filters surface; therefore, reducing flare and ghosting. Foodoir ND filters are neutral grey and do not color cast the images.

I like this filter... I'm planning to buy 10 stop beside thisThere is no issue of light leaking or rear reflection when you use this filter systemAfter my first outdoor shoot. This filter develops 2 holes on the coating. These 2 holes are prominently visible in every picture that I shoot. Almost can't use itdisappoint on filter quality hence thinking not to buy 10 stop filter of same brand

Terrible manufactured quality, impossible to screw and take off, it blocks every time.I contacted Fotodiox client service, they advised me to take off the holder and put put it on a flat table to mount the filter. very useful when you are middle of nature and you need it in less than 15mins.So on top of the poor quality, client service wasn't helpful at all, I asked them to send me only one external metallic ring (probably a 1$ piece), they refused.I would avoid Fotodiox filters, better go for some Lee filters.

I got some pretty cool water flowing shots with this filter. Too bad they are so expensive. I would have liked to have had the 10 stop but it is a little rich for me. This one seems to do fine.

Very difficult to attach to holder because of size. Getting the threads to line up and keeping them from getting stuck is the main problem.

If the system of support was not sent to the already defective customer I could use it but there I can make nothing of this already very expensive filter. I am going to buy the system much better "LUCROIT"

I combine this with the Fotodiox ND8 filter for beautiful seascapes, only problem is it needs to be manually focused through live view, too dark for auto focus. But the water is o so smooth. :)

I am very disappointed. It shows vignetting in all four corners although the fotodiox rep said it would not.I would not recommend if you do not want vignetting.Totally useless for my use.

If you shoot moving water in bright daylight then you need this to smooth it out. I would recommend to every one with the AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED.

Quick delivery of a wonderful item, which solves a problem most people regard as insoluble... A gift from the gods for all users of the Nikon 14-24 lens.

I just received Fotodiox Pro1 145mm circular ND 32 filter and tested it with the Fotodiox WonderPana 66 FreeArc Kit on a Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G. The filter itself appears well made and screws onto the kit very nicely. The filter does not appear to produce any unnatural color cast. I tested the filter for vignetting from 14-16mm and with focus set to the minimum distance, the circular filter does cause vignetting. At 2.5 feet the vignetting is greatly diminished and I found using the lens profile in Lightroom 5 eliminated it at 2.5 feet or greater. Near infinity there is no vignetting. With f-stops of 2.8 to 8, there didn't seem to be any difference in the amount of vignetting. The focus scale on this lens jumps from 2.5ft to infinity very quickly. Even at a distance of 10ft the scale is close to the infinity symbol. When I focused at 25 feet the vignetting is almost gone. So for my own personal landscape photography purposes, I don't expect this to be a problem. NOTE: this review only applies to the FreeArc for the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G.As a side note, I was surprised to find that even with a five stop ND installed, my D800e was able to accurately perform auto focus.

Slight magenta virage. The Filter does not affect global quality of the picture.Good system for putting filters on nikon AF-S 14-24mm f2,8 G.
