These gloves are exactly what I needed for woodstove work. They fit well, the stitching is tight and clean, and they're surprisingly comfortable even during longer use. I especially like the gauntlet style that extends up the forearm, it's a game changer when loading a hot stove and keeps your arms protected from an accidental contact with the sides.The only drawback (and the reason I took off a star) is the branding. The seller chose to slap their name across the glove and huge yellow letters, and the brand itself looks like someone smashed the keyboard. It's... not subtle. it doesn't affect performance, but I wouldn't wear them in front of guests or coworkers. Still for 13 bucks, they're a great deal if you're using them at home.

I’m happy with these fireproof gloves. They do seem to be real leather on the outer layer. The lining is something like a jean material. There’s some extra padding / insulation inside the hands. The seams are on the outside and I actually appreciate this detail. I’m always irritated by seams inside the fingers of gloves and I prefer this style. I’m 6ft tall and average weight. The large size gloves fit me well. They’re of course awkward due to how bulky they are, but that’s to be expected. They’re useful for moving hot coals around on a charcoal grill. I’m impressed by how fair the price is - currently $13.49 for a large pair. I’d recommend these.

Nice and thick.I got them to help in the workshop with hot work.....but they would also work to restrain my evil cat when nail clipping time comes.

When it gets really cold in this part of Texas, I heat my home with a wood stove. When it comes time to replenish wood, I have to open the top griddle and reach down to carefully place more firewood. I cannot chance opening the glass doors because of sparks or embers that may fly out. I cannot chance just dropping the firewood into the stove because it might hit one of the glass panes and break it. The cuffs on these gloves are much longer (ordered large) than those on the welding gloves I have been using, offering much greater protection against my arms being accidentally burned. These gloves also afford protection when carrying and emptying the filled stove ash tray. I keep a 31-gallon galvanized covered metal garbage can on the porch partially filled with ash and add to it whenever necessary. Well worth the price for the added measure of burn protection they provide.

These multi layered, heavy leather welders gauntlets (long gloves) are excellent for protecting your hands from heat sources. Handling hot items can be dangerous. These thick leather gloves protect the hands, wrists, and forearms. They are high quality, and they look great.

These gloves seem durable and well-constructed with solid heat protection and good wrist/arm coverage. However, the sizing is way off. I ordered a medium (my usual size), but what I received fits more like a large. There's too much slack at the fingertips, which can be dangerous when working around heat — you lose dexterity and risk accidental contact. If you have large hands, you'll probably like the fit. Otherwise, check my photos and be cautious. The seller really needs to revisit their sizing chart.
