Excellent protection against cat which hates being put into her carrier box, and will give you several bites! Highly recommended.

Excellent quality gloves which provide great protection for handling pets and for gardening etc.I usually take a L or XL glove for winter gloves and gym gloves but with these there was loads of room left between the ends of my fingers and the finger tips of the the gloves. Those with smaller hands may find the the gloves swamp their hands and they may struggle to grip and handle what they are needing to hold on to with them on.The longer gloves go above the elbows. These should be fine for the more muscular individual because they are rather spacious.Seems to be a very good price for a very well produced quality product. I took a star off simply because they may be far too large for some people to use. I suppose because they are one size fits all, the manufacturer opted to make them on the larger size to ensure they will fit as many people as possible. It may be better to have a range of sizes for different sized hands.

XIEHUZA Animal Handling Anti-Bite Gloves, 24inch Reinforced Leather Welding Gloves for Gardening, Grooming, Dog Training, Cat Scratch, Bird Handling Falcon Gloves Grabbing, Bite Resistant Feed GlovesAt the shelter we take in dogs and cats who truly have seen the worst of humanity. Whether that is true direct abuse or horrible neglect. Naturally that results in a good portion of these animals losing their faith in humans. I can't say I blame them. However, to help them on the path to recovery we do need to do some handling and to protect ourselves we have used these gloves for ages. The gloves arrived in a simple, thin plastic bag, which as far as i could tell could be recycled. Which is an immediate bonus point. The gloves did have a bit of a chemical scent to them, no doubt due to the dyes and glues used in the manufacturing. To help with this we hung them out to air for a couple of hours which did the trick. The 24 inch or 60 cm gloves are quite long and with most of our staff they reach up to their armpits. However for the ones who are a little bit taller they will most definitely cover your arms past the elbows at the very minimum. The openings are wide enough so you can comfortably wear a long sleeve t-shirt or even a thinner jumper of hoodie underneath. Adding another layer of protection and security. The gloves are quite large, with longer openings for the fingers. This might make delicate tasks a bit more difficult if you have small hands, as you will need to work around the bulk of fabric. However, for simple handling tasks such as moving or holding feral cats this is not an issue whatsoever. The outer fabric is slightly textured, but overall just reminds me of thick suede. As a safety precaution we tested their strength before unleashing our animals on them and we weren't able to puncture or slash through with a decent quality steak knife. Ultimately meaning we can protect our staff against the nails and teeth of upset cats and dogs which is all that matters.
