It’s cute and as advertised and my cat loves it for sure. Quality isn’t great. My cat isn’t very destructive but ripped the ropes within seconds. It does come with glue but unless you have a hot glue gun kinda useless.

Both our cats are obsessed with this bed. However they did start ripping up the ends pretty quickly that will need to be glued back down. But nicely enough a glue stick was supplied, so I assume this is normal. I still give it 5 stars because it is exceeding my expectations. I should probably get another so they both have one.

I put a little cat nip in it and my cat immediately switched to this from his old messy cardboard scratcher.

My cat loves this and it has held up well after about a year of use. She loved to sit, scratch and lay on it.

This scratcher has a Styrofoam core. The ropes came off almost immediately then he started scratching the foam. There was Styrofoam all over the floor, and clinging to my cats fur. It hasn't even been a year and my cat doesn't scratch it anymore. He lays on it, but that's it. Don't buy!

I bought this right before moving in with my girlfriend, hoping my cat would start using it instead of the furniture before we moved. She ignored it. But after we moved, b/c she recognized it as something from our old apartment in the new, unfamiliar apartment, she gravitated to it and used it exclusively for scratching. All of our fears were assuaged!! After four months of constant use, the ropes have started to separate from the stryofoam and we will need to order a new one, but it's well worth the value to keep from having furniture, carpet, or rugs shredded!! Way better than furniture adhesives and corner posts!

Kitties love reclining and scratching this cute product. They lounge on it and bat around the attached ball. So far, it is sturdy, as it is taking the abuse of 6 kitties.UPDATE: Purchased August and trashed in October. The rope started unraveling within 48hrs of use, as it is hot glued onto styrofoam. Cats scratched it and there's styrofoam everywhere, and I'm pretty sure it isn't safe for kitties to digest. Poor quality materials and too expensive for 2mos of use.

I bought two different versions of these types of scratcher/beds so I will simply repeat what I wrote in the other review as they are extremely similar in look, quality, size, everything but color. I got one in grey and in in brown. Both in size large.My cats have always loved those cardboard scratchers. They love to stretch and scratch as well as sleep in them. But the mess all of that shredded cardboard all over the floor is a pain to keep swept up. Not to mention I have one cat who feels he needs to get some additional fiber every day and he eats the shredded cardboard.These scratchers (I bought two very similar ones, this one and a second), are not only far less messy but are made in a nice oval shape, slightly beveled for comfy sleeping and are mostly made of sisal which cats LOVE to scratch. They are also very lightweight.One of my cats is a big boy so I made sure to find these bed/scratchers in a large size. He is twenty pounds and this size is perfect for him. Because the scratchers are concave sort of like a football stadium or an outdoor amphitheater they also fit very nicely for our eleven pound kitty.They did not have a weird smell when I unpacked them but I rubbed some catnip in the bottom anyway. It always gets the cats settled in to new beds or toys.We and our cats highly recommend these scratchers,
