I like the size and the two compartment design of the safe. But the build quality is very poor. The keypad, dial outside the key pad, inner shelves, etc are all made with cheap materials, and felt very flimsy. The product doesn't even have a brand on it. I was able to set up the code and use the key to open the doors without any problem. But the keypad and dial to open and lock the doors are poor enough in quality that I have concerns how long they will last. If you use a safe very frequently, this is definitely not for you. If you use it to guard against theft, fire, or water, absolutely not, despite their claims. But for me, I really just need a box with a lock so important documents such as passorts, birth certificates, etc don't get misplaced. I could have just gotten a file cabinet with lock, but this "safe" works for my purpose and I am not returning it. But if you need a real safe, this is not it.
