This little safe does exactly what I needed it to- keep small valuables, meds, and important documents secure and out of reach. The steel feels sturdy, the keypad is easy to program, and the added fireproof bag is a nice touch. The built-in light and removable shelf make it convenient to organize and find things, even in low light.Installation was simple, and I like that it can be mounted for extra security. The alarm feature is also reassuring if someone tries to tamper with it. Honestly, I couldn’t find anything similar with these features at this price point. It’s not fireproof or waterproof on its own- you have to rely on the bag but for what it is, it’s a great deal.

This safe is similar in material and security as safes that are sold at harbor freight but at a much better price. It was easy to set up with a new code and the fireproof bag is a nice added extra. If the batteries go dead you can open the safe with a key or external battery box ( both included). It comes with mounting screws and has predrilled holes in the back and bottom if you want to securely mount it. I would say that it is a low to medium security safe, but that’s what I was looking for. Secure enough to keep my weapons safe from my kids and easy enough for me to access them if needed.

For the price, you get a lot of functionality but it is not the highest quality and some details are confusing. Comes with an instruction manual that explains everything you need to know mostly but there are spelling mistakes in it here and there. The construction of the box itself has a good weight to it and it is heavy! Includes open via code, as well as key open that works even without the battery, a light inside, an emergency battery box that you can attach from the outside if your battery dies. Overall not bad at all and works well enough.

This safe is exactly what I was hoping for—simple, functional, and reliable. The build feels solid, and the included mounting hardware was surprisingly good quality, making it easy to secure the unit right out of the box. Setup was quick and painless thanks to a clear instruction manual and straightforward keypad programming.The built-in light is a nice touch, although it only offers limited illumination inside from where it's mounted. Still, it’s better than nothing and adds a little convenience. Overall, this is a great little safe for storing small valuables, documents, or medications, and comes with keys, should you need an override. An additional battery pack is included, which is a nice touch, but it's not immediately clear where it connects to the safe.For the price, it does its job well without unnecessary features or complexity!

This is what it is — a low cost "safe" that keeps things locked away from kids and will keep honest people honest. What it isn't is a truly secure safe, it isn't fireproof or water proof and the plastic parts (keyhole cover, battery compartment and keypad) are cheaply made and prone to failure.The weight of this thing is nice. I put it in a locking office storage cabinet to keep things like petty cash in and a firearm. I utilized the holes in the safe to use a security cable to affix the safe to the inside of the cabinet and keep it from easily being carried away. Mounting to studs or concrete would make it more of a permanent installation in your home or office. I setup my password easily and the key works fine. The knob for the lock is not tight and has too much play. The keypad also seems cheap but does work. That said the plastic cover over the keyhole broke immediately. The engineering for this cover is horrible. They should have left it off or used a rubber cover. The interior is decent size for a cash bag, handgun, hard drives, etc.Based on the price, I recommend this safe. But just know you are getting what you pay for. But, for my use it works fine.If the keypad fails or it develops any issues, I will update this review.

This safe is right about the same size as the ones they have in hotels and cruise ships. It can be opened with a combination code or a key.The door and front are very well made, but the rest is less sturdy. There is anchoring materials included so it can be anchored from the bottom or from the back. This leaves 4 large holes that would certainly prevent the entire contents from being protected from fire or water. There is a small zippered pouch inside that looks like it would protect my stuff.There is a shelf inside, so the safe is broken into two levels.There are two keys and two places to install batteries that are not included. It needs 1 9v and or 4 AA batteries. The 4 AA batteries install from the inside, but the 9v battery pack can be plugged into the front of the safe, giving you a way to open it if the internal batteries are not working and you also don't have access to the keys.All in all, I think it is a nice safe for the average person that maybe wants to keep a firearm locked away safely from children, papers in a secure place, jewelry, etc.
