I waited to review this until I used it a few times. I am far from a professional but with three dogs, I needed to be able to take care of their nails myself. The nail clippers are nice and heavy. They have a guard to prevent clipping to deeply. It takes some practice to clip against the guard but I would not want to clip without it.For the grinder, I followed the directions and gave my dogs the opportunity to sniff the tool and then turned it on to let them get used to the sound. The sound is very mild compared to the Dremmel tool used at my local groomer. I had a little bit of a hard time getting the nail in the grinder, but I got better with time.It was well packaged and came with two extra grinding wheels. I highly recommend this set to pet owners.

Tried many over the yearsThis is the first one that is smooth and quiet enough to let my dogs stay stillVery sturdy and heavy feelingsmooth and strong motorcharges quicklycame with 2 extra grinder headsit didn't come with a USB A AC power adapter, so I had to use the one for my phone to AC outletI guess if you have a surge protector with USB plugs, or plug into your computer USB, you won't need itwe have so many of these lying around anyway right? The grinder and nail clippers are exactly as pictured. I like that it has a light feature on two sides. It's helpful to shine through the nail while grinding. It also comes with a storage bag and extra heads. It works well. I have a medium size dog though and the grinder works a little more slowly on her nails than others, like dremel. It would probably be very fast on a smaller dog with thinner nails. Overall, a good option for small to medium size dogs.

We bought a Dremel Pet Nail grinder a few years back for smaller dogs.Then, when we got the Husky we picked another brand that now battery life is diminishing.This unit is good but it will stop if you put enough pressure and you will have to turn it off and back on again. Though you don't need to put too much pressure because with the right amount it will do the job.I like the light and the fact that with the right angle you can see in the nail (if the nail is light enough) and you know how far you need to stop.Was able to get Husky's nails super low without nicking anything.It also comes in with clippers but I was able to use the bit all on its own.

It works okay but not great. The electric filer does what it needs to do but the cutter is dull and makes it difficult to cut a clean slice of my dog's nail. It caused her nails to chip so we refrained from using it. The cutter needs to be sharper.

I am so pleased with this pet nail care kit. Right off the bat you can feel the quality in the products. The nail clippers are solid and have a guard to help prevent clipping too deep. The grinding tool has two speeds so you can choose which to use in grinding or polishing. It has a little light so you can see the nail better, helping guard that tender quick. The grinding head has a guard to help guide in using on different sized nails. It can also be removed so the grinding head can be completely exposed- which I prefer. Bonus! You get TWO additional grinding heads! The unit is rechargeable and comes with a cord, but no adapter is included. It also has indicator lights so you know where your battery level is. One switch changes speeds and another turns it on and off. A storage bag is also included. This product is well worth the investment! My dog hates their nails trimmed. The clippers are much better than the ones I have bought in the super stores. The rotary tool is easy to charge and is pretty quiet. My dog hates getting their nails trimmed, but this set makes it easier for me.

This works really well! It is fast, easy to use, and my dogs don't mind it! It's also really easy to clean out. The construction feels super high end quality.
