I've been using this with a MetroX scanner. It's pretty handy with the laser modes. It's big enough to hold your target object and some markers, and allows you to manually rotate to capture other angles. My only complaint is that it seems to catch a bit once in a while. I had a scan get messed up because when it freed itself it caused a couple marker blocks to shift, meaning my tracking was no longer usable. Happened once, but that's enough to ruin a scan and enough to lose a star.Otherwise, it's been fine

This neat and handy device is a fantastic way to display your collectibles, help 3D image an object for scanning, or for those who want to practice their DJ scratching, as this table is fully capable of rotating 360 degrees. While it does cause some noise during use thanks to the couple of gears between the two plates, it performs its duties flawlessly, allowing for you to appreciate whatever you decide to display on it.The only downsides I can realistically see from this product, is that it doesn't come in other colors, and that you'll be wanting a motorized version for endless rotation.

I got this because I have a hard time getting a good 3D scan of parts trying to walk and move around in 360°. This works really well, I set my phone up on a stand and them slowly spin the turntable to capture the 360° image. This would not work for items larger than a couple of inches.Overall, really neat and simple tool, highly recommend this if you are getting started in 3D scanning, modeling and printing.

This is a nice little turntable that I got specifically for painting 3D models. It's sturdy end of great quality with good grip, although I must've missed something because it does seem a little smaller than I thought it would be. I don't think I looked to see what it size was but in the end that's OK. I don't paint anything big. I guess I'd rather have a smaller table that's built better than a larger one that's gonna fall apart after a week or two of use.

This black turn table is approximately eight inches across. It reportedly will work for items up to 20 pounds. I had hoped to use this for taking pictures of smaller items that I want to photograph from different sides. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will work any better than just turning the item I am photographing by hand on the counter. I can’t just turn the table and take a picture, I have to continually manipulate the turn table. I find it interesting that when I placed the turn table upside down, it turned really easily. I did try to get short video clips to demonstrate this. This may work perfectly for you but I am not sure it will work for my purposes. Decent price.
