I have an older home that doesn't come with a water hookup for the fridge, so for years I had to make do with the old fashioned ice tray. Then table top ice makers started to come out and I tried a few, but they turned out to be more novelty than anything due to the small quantity that can be made at a time and the ice would melt within minutes after they were made. This ice maker is a huge improvement over the first couple generations, the standout feature is the dispenser, which is so much easier and sanitary than the other ice makers that require scooping out the cubes. The insulated ice container is also a big improvement, the ice won't melt for a couple hours, although I do wish it can stay icy for even longer. There are many ice makers out there that are cheaper, but this one is truly heavy duty and more advanced than the others.

This is a great ice machine. It was so easy to set up and get started making ice too. We just had to add water and press the make ice button. It started making ice bullets in about 8 minutes. It was full within a couple of hours. The ice is bullet shaped and lasts much longer than the pellet ice. This machine is well made and it looks really nice. It even came with an ice scoop.
