I've only used it once or twice kept coffee pretty warm not as hot as a regular coffee / candle warmer.Pretty good for travel!!

Make sure your beverage is in correctly cup(per instructions) also if your beverage is very warm when you put it on the warmer it helps maintain the temperature. This does NOT bring cold beverages to a hot temperature easily. If you are in a pinch it will warm a beverage very slowly from cold temperature but it's not intended use.I put a good ceramic coffee cup on it with hot coffee in it and it keeps it at a desirable temp until I finish the coffee.I'll update on longevity of this item after a few months. I've only had it a few days.

Bought it because of how cute the design was, and I needed a coffee warmer. It gets pretty hit, but it’s not enough to actually keep my coffee hot
