I've been wearing booties and flats with my work slacks for years and wanted a new look. I typically wear a straight leg, crop or ankle length pair of pants or jeans. I need some comfort but also love style. I chose these in the black suede and can't believe how stylish AND COMFY they are. I'm already eyeing the metallic pair to wear with my navy and brown looks. The size is exact, the lace up allows you to add a sock if you choose (however I'm wearing mine without and so far there has been no break in period!!)

Another perfect fit, comfortable right-out-of-the-box for Clark's. Lots of support and comfort even walking around on hard floors all day. Highly recommend!

The shoes are perfect. I ordered my true size and got Wide. The soles are pretty thick and the sides are flexible which makes it really comfortable. However, the right shoe came scratched. It’s not big but it’s big enough that it bothers me. Amazon should be more thorough with quality check. Disappointing.

I've only worn it once but already a great comfortable shoe. I had a busy day at work and walked around quite a bit. I thought my feet would be hurting the first day of breaking them in, but they were great! My feet were supported but still very stylish. I would buy these again in another color. I was hoping they would have this in a brown or tan color, but I guess I'll have to wait. Fits true to size. The material is high quality and well made from what I can tell. Highly recommend these shoes!

I bought the burgundy ones, although I wanted the black but they were sold out...I have a lot of things in my wardrobe that goes with burgundy so they work. They have good tread as well. They have a wee bit of height to them so look dressier than an athletic type shoe. I have odeama in my ankles and feet and so really appreciate the laces to adjust for swelling. They are classy looking.

these are some pretty nice shoes! they're a tiny bit big but that's to be expected since I range between an 8.5 and a 9 and chose a 9 to be safe. however, this still may be the best fit because the smaller size could have been too narrow for me. I'm only using them for my work at a business, I don't do too much walking there so they've remained pretty comfortable. they're really cute though, so I may end up wearing them sometimes outside of work. the foot padding is pretty soft, so that really nice. these shoes are a really good option if you like this style and can be 'dressed up or dressed down'.

These shoes were definitely more grey and gunmetal than black as they appear in the photos when I received them. When I first put my feet in, they felt very tight. I wore them around my house for a few hours one morning and in no time they expanded to fit my foot perfectly as expected. They are very comfortable and not too heavy. A perfect semi-casual shoe at the right price - especially for Clark's! Very pleased with this purchase.

Gorgeous, dresses up an otherwise too casual outfit. Great to work in all day. I’m up and down and all over at my job, and my feet never get sore in these. For utmost comfort I typically wear Birkenstock’s for the metatarsal support, so these not making my toes numb is huge! Nice leather, soft fabric lining on the upper, and the chunky sole is made of something light weight. I love this shoe. I’ll be buying a black pair soon. I got the gunmetal color due to the great price on the Covid income budget. 😉

Shoes fits nice.....true to size. The leather is soft and does not hurt my feet. I usually like shoes with a rounded toe end because my feet are kind of boneny and i was afraid the point will squeeze my toes. Bot no...generous room..soft leather...smart looking and I could walk very long in them. Buy.

This is a very nice looking shoe and seems like it will be comfortable. However, like all Clark's, this shoe runs very narrow! I am usually between a medium and wide width so I ordered the wide width and it is still too tight in the toe box of my right (larger) foot. I am going to order a half size up,still in a wide width, and hope that it fixes the problem without my foot flopping out.The fabric is very soft and it has a nice lip on the heel of the shoe with a small amount of padding. I like the thick sole as well. I am hoping this will be my go-to shoe for work so I'm crossing my fingers.(btw,for anyone interested in a similar style from Cole Haan, mentioned here by another reviewer, they are even more narrow. This shoe has a more substantial look to it and might be a bit more professional looking.)

Very comfortable shoe, beautiful sueded leather is dark enough to take on a deep brown mahogany hue. The outer sides of the footbed were a bit stiff for me after a summer of flats and sandals, but after wearing them in the house for a couple of hours it was fine, almost delicious. The width comfort is easily adjusted with the shoe laces and the shoe is soft and pliable. The heel height is perfect for support and balance and for anyone with balance issues this is a good shoe to choose. The shoes are warm without stifling nor do they cause feet sweat. It's a beautiful shoe that goes casual for daily wear or can finish off a dressy pant outfit.

I was looking for an oxford but a sneaker, sort of like a cole han shoe. I don't like any of the cole options for women so I landed on these clarks instead.PROS:- Good fit - if you are unsure size down. I bought a size 7 at first, but they were just a tad too large for one of my feet so I returned them and went with the 6.5 instead. If you are between sizes like I am (also most people have one foot larger than the other) go with the smaller half size.- Not too wide!!! - My biggest issue with buying this style of shoe is when the fittoo wide and makes my foot appear bulky. Often times it looks much too manly. I want to look edgy but not masculine and these do just that!! Also because they are suede you can tie them closer together to acheive that narrow look.- Comfortable - I walk to work so automatically I can test comfort in my normal day to day. Nothing extra special here, but they pass the test. The extra cusion on the sole, and the suede make these my most comfortable oxfords to date.- Reputable Brand - Clarks have always been a credible brand that makes a long-lasting shoe so I was happy to make this investment. In case you are wondering yes these are real (sometimes you never know on marketplaces)CONS:Price Point - Obviously these are an investment. The good news is a nice black oxford can be worn quite frequently! The suede for me made it a little scary to commit but ultimately benefitted to the comfort factor.Overall: I am very happy I bought these. I even had to return due to my own sizing unknowns and feel it was worth it.Update: These are still holding strong with little room for stains or scuffs. So happy I bought them - I wear them all the time.
