I love these shoes! I had been searching for quality dress shoes for work and was willing to invest a good amount of money in them, since I was going to be wearing them five days a week. I purchased both the Whiskey and Black, so I could mix and match with my outfits. I've received multiple compliments on the Whiskey! Both pair well with either business or business casual attire.I would recommend getting more durable rubber soles to replace the ones that come with the shoes, which lasted me about a year before it came close to the wooden part of the shoe. It definitely reduces the slipperiness, since it only comes with rubber soles on the back half of the heel and the toe. Plus, it will protect and extend the lifetime of your shoe!

These are very narrow, my feet are not wide and I ordered a half size up and could barely get them on. The leather is gorgeous and I like the simple style of them (they are pointy so if that's not your style I would skip these) but ended returning them.

Fit was small. Maybe half a size too small. I wear size 7 or 7.5. And have wide feet. I had to return it.

This shoe is fantastic. It's really comfortable and looks great with ankle pants and trousers. I work in a cardiology clinic and I wore them all day without any trouble.

These are literally the best shoes I have ever owned. I am a narrow 9.5 and these fit like a glove, and are very comfortable right out of the box. I got the off-white color and love them so much!

These are beautiful, elegant shoes in every respect. The quality of the leather and the construction is impeccable. However, they are so narrow along the widest part of the foot that wearing them would only cause pain. Human feet are just not shaped like that. If your feet are really narrow they might be OK, but then they'd probably be too large in the heel. So I optmistically exchanged them for a more round-toed Frye oxford, hoping for the same quality.

If you are questioning sizing, size up. I usually wear a 10, but I got an 11. They fit great, and are comfortable. I could have worn a 10, but they would have been tight, and tight leather shoes are never fun.

-Quality of the leather seems excellent and worth the price.-leather is soft , flexible with movement on top and does not hurt when walking.-I ordered a half size up because of pointy toe box and what others recommended. I am thinking of exchanging for my regular size .-shoe is slippery only the first time , on tile floor . shoe is not slippery after few usesI will keep this shoe and am very happy

I ordered my usual 7.5 first and had to return them for an 8 - they run thin and the pointed toe is so beautiful but was bothering my toes a bit.I absolutely recommend these shoes. They're masculine and feminine at the same time. I have already started to wear them in and they just get more beautiful.

To me, these are the perfect mix of feminine and masculine all in one shoe. I so love how classic and classy they are. They look great with dress pants, skinny pants, pencil pants, skirts, jeans, you name it. Add some funky socks and I can't stop looking at my feet all day. I love them both so much I purchased the bordeaux and the whiskey, thinking I would probably return the whiskey as I'm not really a brown shoe fan. The whiskey is such a unique brown that I find them stunning and can't stop looking down all day, but in a good way! The only reason I marked 4 stars is they are a bit narrow. They've stretched out some, but not as quickly or as much as all of my other Fryes. If you find normal Fryes too narrow, stay clear of these.
