Just got this today, threw it in the dryer to tumble fluff for 20 minutes, and put it straight into my duvet cover. It's perfect for spring/summer, I got it to replace a heavy winter down duvet for the season. So impressed with it for the price. It's about the same thickness (and price point!) as the light-warm insert from ikea, but ikea doesn't have an oversized king option like this. Super happy with it!

It is thin and as it comes in vacuum bag, it is very wrinkled and still looks like that. For a 12in queen mattress, I would recommend a larger size.

I wanted light and I got it.I decided to upgrade my duvet insert and covers that are almost 20 years old. I live in Florida so they don't get a lot of use. This was mostly because I wanted to upgrade to corner ties and a zippered duvet cover.My old insert was the lightest one available from the big yellow and blue Swedish box. It's the only item I own from them that doesn't require a hex wrench. It was a bit too warm for me and I would frequently wake up a bit sweaty.

I needed something with light warmth for inside my duvet since I live in a warm climate. This was so inexpensive that I was concerned with the quality. It works perfectly! It gives fluff to my duvet, without too much warmth. I haven't washed it yet, but at this point I am very pleased.

After reading many reviews, I decided to go with the light warmth. I live in Georgia where it doesn't get super cold much, and though I'm a cold sleeper, I figured I could always use this in the summer If it wasn't warm enough. The light warmth is perfect for me. During cold spells, I keep my heater on a timer when I first go to bed, so I can read to fall asleep then stick my arms under the blanket when I put my Kindle down. My east-facing window gives me plenty of warmth in the mornings.The duvet was vacuum packed, so I had to fluff it out before using. I just put it on air dry in the dryer for about an hour, and it's fluffy all over. I put it in the duvet cover, laid it on the bed, and the cats almost immediately took over. They approve as well.
