I read threw the reviews on this blanket after I purchased it & I was a little nervous that we wouldn't like it.Reviews stated is was loud... Is it loud? A little. But is it as loud as a "tent material"? We don't think so. Honestly, it's has a pretty normal noise level in our opinion.Reviews complained that it wasn't as poofy as the pictures/description let on... Is it poofy? Yes. Is it as poofy as a cartoon drawn blanket in a 90s cartoon? No, but it seems a little unrealistic to me.Anyways. In all seriousness, we really do like this blanket. It's perfect for winter. It's warm. It's heavy, but not too heavy... which pleases my husband, who likes heavy blankets, and me, who likes lighter blankets. It looks nice and is pretty cozy. The only possible negative I can give is I don't think it will fit in my washer and dryer, but that doesn't bother me. I can just take a trip to the laundromat as needed.

I am very unhappy with this purchase. I bought it a few months ago and put it away for christmas. It came in a vacuum sealed bag inside of a box. I put it in an air tight sealed storage bin with several other gifts I had purchased early as christmas gifts. Well I went to take it out today to wash it for our bed, and the smell was AWFUL. It smelled of mold, yet had no visible mold on the blanket itself. I thought maybe it was in my head, so I proceeded to follow the care instructions and when all was said and done, the blanket was worse then before. The smell was worse, and now there was visible mold on the random spots. I was completely disgusted and threw the whole thing in the garbage. $100 flushed down the drain. Do not buy unless you like to breathe in mold.

For the low price of $99, I wasn't expecting this full-size comforter to be all-down. But 80% waterfowl feathers (fairly large ones that can be felt through the fabric) and 20% down translates into an uncomfortable comforter.The Amazon listing touched on the exterior fabric content (18% cotton and 82% polyester) and noted "...MOISTURE REPELLANT - Our down filling is water-proof and fast-drying"... not mentioning the feathers.They really should have been upfront re the composition of the fill being 80% waterfowl feathers. I didn't see that information anywhere on the listing description details and wouldn't have purchased it if I had known.It's too bad that this company doesn't manufacture the same comforter using 100% down - I'd pay the premium price for a comforter sans feathers.

Although this was listed as a duvet insert, I use it as a comforter. I would say it is medium weight. It's very soft and keeps me quite warm, but not so warm that it gets too hot. I would say it could be used year round, especially if you turn down the air in the summertime at night (which I do). It's a beautiful pink color, which I love. Great value for the money also. Feels like down, but it's a actually a combination of down and some other filling. It's also machine washable. I would definitely recommend!

This is a well made comforter. The down is evenly distributed and odor free. The fabric is a good count and down proof - here in lays the rub. IMHO the fabric must include some kind of coating on the inside to keep the down from leaking, This mysterious coating has no odor nor adds any perceptible weight BUT adds a stiffness and therefore a very noticeable CRUNCH when the cover is moved. In other words, a noisy cover. this may be a non-issue to many, but to me it represents an unnatural aspect to an otherwise totally natural organic item. I have owned comforters that are soft and totally quite - this is not that comforter. For some reason the Chinese always seem to produce products that are "off". Remember vinyl added to dog food and cellulose melamine added to baby formula? This "defect" is no where (?) as critical - but it does give me a bit of uneasiness. But you be the judge for this good value. Thanks or reading my rant of "Chinese-bashing".
