This works much better than the basic toner I have had for years. The old one could not find a tone from any reasonable distance. This one is much better and has more than one function.

Less than two months old and the toner function does not work anymore. Can still test cables but trying to find the right end to test is almost impossible.Update: seller reached out and offered to replace it free of charge. Will try again and see if it was just a bad toner.

Nice design and case. Works great to test cat connections. It was not accurate tracing. My 20+ cat wires bundle near termination. The signal from this tracer bleeds into the bundle and there is no way to identify accurately at the punch board. I went with the one that beeped loudest and it was not the right one.

I work as an IT Specialist and whenever we need to trace a wire or find out if it’s faulty we turn to this tester. It’s easy to use, inexpensive and gets the job done. 10/10 for not being a fancy tester and working perfectly

What I liked about this product is that it does what a more expensive toner/tester does but @ a fraction of the price. Easily tone out cables or tone out.
