Brussel's Bonsai is a wonderful bonsai seller. The bonsai I received is large, extremely healthy, and was very carefully packaged. The box (marked "live plant") was shipped promptly via UPS, arrived 3 days after ordering, and not a leaf was lost in transit. 5 stars all the way!

Honestly, Brussel's Bonsai is the absolute best place to buy Bonsai. That's it.If you care to know why, and the pictures I have aren't obvious then read some more.Brussel's Bonsai not only has the best prices you will see ANYWHERE, trust me i have check every bonsai seller online, but they also include FREE shipping, they sell on amazon, its super duper fast, and to put the cherry on top (most important) their trees are absolutely stunning! Every tree in my pictures is from brussel's (except the little ginseng thats on my bookshelf, i got that from ikea and repotted to make a bonsai). If you see any review lower than a one star do NOT believe it. Brussel's has excellent customer service, so if you aren't happy or your tree is dead on arrival (not a few weeks or months later because you don't know how to take care of a bonsai) then they will happily assist you.I have purchased bonsai from a few other places, most charge INSANE shipping costs that would double any prices you see online not including tax. Brussel's is by far the best and only place to shop for bonsai.Now keep in mind you need to know how to take care of each plant, its very very easy but only once you know how to keep your plants alive. Also each species of bonsai is different and requires different care. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TREE. FIRST THE SIZE BLEW ME AWAY. I DIDN'T EXPECT IT HAVE SO MUCH FABULOUS GROWTH TO IT. SECOND WAS THE SHAPE. THE PICTURE OF THE NURSERY SHOWED THE TRUNKS TO BE STRAIGHT. THIS TRUNK HAS SOME GREAT CURVES TO IT SO I SUSPECT IT HAS BEEN SHAPED BY WIRING. AND FINALLY I ORDERED IT DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON AND ALSO THE PANDEMIC SO IT ARRIVED LATER THAN EXPECTED. YET IT WAS PACKAGED SAFELY ENOUGH WERE THE BOX WAS DAMAGED WITH A GAPING RIP TO ONE SIDE HOWEVER THE PLANT WAS PACKAGED SO WELL IT DID NOT SUFFER. OVER A WEEK FOR DELIVERY AND THE SOIL WAS STILL MOIST. I DEFINITELY WOULD BY MORE BONSAI'S FROM THEM IN THE FUTURE. I RARELY EVER DO SURVEY'S OR REVIEWS.

The tree I received was indeed Podocarpus Microphyllus. It has a curved trunk and healthy foliage. The roots looked healthy, too. However, it is overgrown. It seems that someone attempted partial styling, but it resulted in half-cut leaves and carelessly chopped off branches.The tree has some potential, but it will need 3-4 years of additional work before it can be displayed and fully enjoyed. This tree should be considered and advertised as pre-bonsai, not bonsai.I also did not like the milky white pot that came with my tree.

This was the first of 4 Bonsais from Brussels. I find it amazing how they can pack and ship something as beautiful as this and arrive is great shape. Being a 10yo tree, it need some styling but that is to be expected and that's the fun of Bonsai. It had an excellent branch structure and with some trimming and a bit if wiring, great looking. The pot choice was nice but a bit bright for a good Bonsai. I think it need to be more natural colored. You decide from the picture. This is after preliminary trimming and wiring. The tree is loaded with new branch tip growth.

I really like this product... I wish with a base plate so it matches the pot but.. it looked pretty and it was well packed.

Looked nice when it arrived. One week later it was dead despite proper care. I ordered two. Both dead.
