Very flimsy and not sturdy. I haven't used them because of it, they're not sturdy enough to make a good job with these unless you're a pro who knows what you're doing. But for me at least it was too hard for it to function properly.

I have had these dowsing rods for a couple of months now and I use them most days, they are amazing and very responsive, just hold the handle and they start to move, ask them to show you yes and no and then your all set to go dowsing! I would recommend these for anyone interested in dowsing.

THE Dowsing Rods are heavy duty with slip on the handles for rods to easily work its magic. The price is great for quality of the material. Have not ventured out to the farm to put in practice as of yet. However, the simple guide on how to use them should make detecting easy. I would and will purchase again if needed

These dowsing rods are well made and have a good feel to them. They are built using a solid brass rod with collars that hold the close-fitting copper "tubing-handle" in place giving proper ease of movement without flopping around as found on 99% of el cheapo rods. This is a superior design vs the common thin flimsy copper rod with oversized copper tubing handles found online... augh :-(I am a technician and engineer and NOT into all the new age BS... it's utterly full of fantastical lies. The L-rods simply work by micro-motor movements in the arm/wrist. This causes weight shifting of the rods, thus the rods move. There is nothing mystical or magic about it, just simple bio-physics. Exact same with pendulum dowsing. The magic is in your mind, not the tools, they just help to exaggerate and facilitate thought power (mental force or perception as an extension) of the natural mental and psyche process.Saying all that...You will perform better "mentally" via a positive tactile response if your tools are well designed and comfortable to use- for that application. These dowsing rods certainly will do that!.....I have 30+ variety of rods, some with handles and some without. I prefer long, solid one-piece heavy iron, copper or brass rods... those without handles for the majority of my field work. I wear gloves in the wither and when digging, so it's not the touch that necessary, it's the feel of the tool in your handRemember, when wearing gloves and working in the field ALL of that new age bs instantly goes out the door. It's best to get used to working with your tools and not some lame mystical philosophy that only works at the kitchen table 1:1,000,000 times when no one is home.I generally like handled variety so that i can feel the rods pulling before they start moving too much. I "think" this helps my sensitivity in some situations. These brass rods with copper handles are very well made and are comfortable for long use out doors in very light winds. They have already worked in the field to find coins (about an inch deep), an earring piece and some broken camera/cell phone pieces in a city park that was being metal detected.Story-I just got the mail and saw that my rods had arrived... yeah, let's go to the mountains and try these out! :-)On the way I found a big city park with soccer fields and playground equipment. I've never been to this park, nor on this side of town so this is completely new to me.As I drive up there are two guys using metal detectors. They evidently just finished cleaning up the area in front of the light pole to the big trees... that's were i wanted to go. Err!!!I parked, got my DOWSING stuff (rods, pin-pointer, digger-knife and belt with treasure bag attached)...There were several people parked amd some walking around watching these guys make metal detecting look glamorous and easy... it is, and I'm a BIG enthusiast in that as well.I said hi and chatted a bit. That's how I learned they cleaned up the area I wanted to go.They were curious about my rods and were like ""whatever bro... good luck with those things... lol" we've already been down that way and got everything"."Cool" I said, "then I won't be cutting to off it getting in your way... tnx, bye".I walked about ten feet away, aligned myself, got a signal and away I went towards the gardeners shack.Having spent a few minutes getting used to the smaller lighter rods with handles was a little tricky, they are sensitive and like to swing!I'm concentrating only on "coins & jewelry... show me coins & jewelry".Eventually, I got these things figured out and got a couple of positive crossed signals and marked the spot... walked away, and tried from a different point. "Yup, something's here...".In front of everybody I pulled out my trusty pin-pointer, turned it on and waved it like Hand Solo as it powered up and beeped "on".So far, no one was impressed with me walking around DOWSING, and now acting like a Jedi! lolI said "the target was between my shoes .. exactly where they crossed".Right... :-/"Okay, I'm going in..."I dug out a small 2-3" section of grass and dirt, broke open a clump of packed soil and pulled out some lunch money, thanked God and moved to there next target...I did this a few more times in that area and thought to leave before they all stoned me as witch. Poor witches, they always get a bad rap. :-(Good news is, these rods worked and paid for themselves the first day out!Thank you!JoeDowsing and Detecting Recovery Services

Happy with the length and feel of the rods all good . A slight bit too slippery in that they are a little hard to still before the question is asked , overall happy for now .
