The dowsing rods have good movement to them and are a nice weight, with wooden handles. The pendulum is pretty and comes in a little velvet bag. You can definitely feel a pull in different directions.

This is a beautiful divining set! I LOVE that the dowsing rods are formed from actually copper, which can amplify the energetic currents they are able to detect. The walnut wood handles feel just a wee bit wide for my grip (which is smaller than most), but otherwise are a beautiful touch. They allow the rods to turn freely, while having a sturdy but lightweight anchor point in my hands. They seemed responsive to portals like doorways and windows in my home, when I tested them out - which I found interesting.The pendulum is made from brass, and has a VERY solid weight to it. I like the length of the chain to pendulum weight ratio, which seems to keep it anchored well by gravity alone. To activate a swing to the pendulum requires a greater transfer of energy, making false positive and micro-motions less-likely to affect the sway of the point. All in all, a great set of tools - made with mindfulness.
