Sturdy and made well. Comes with standard and long staples. Exactly what I needed to put together a paper manual of course work. Easily stapled 45 pages together.

Milton Waddams never did find his red Swingline. He was pretty upset about it. After his office building he worked in "mysteriously" burned down, he eventually stumbled on this particular stapler. Let me tell you... this has made him totally forget about his Swingline. He's so enamored with this one.And you know what? I can understand why. I really like this one too! This is an awesome stapler! Know what is extra great about it? It's not wimpy! I can handle 50 or more sheets of paper without an issues whatsoever.Ever since I got this, Milton and I have started our own Bostitch club. There's only two of us who ever attend... but boy do we have fun.If anyone is still looking for their stapler, stop. Just stop. Get this one instead.I hope you liked my review. I always try really hard to write reviews are are candid, honest, and helpful for your shopping decisions. No AI here... all the poor writing is mine and mine alone! :-P

Bostitch is the name in staplers - for the home, office, school or garage. I have a bunch of staplers left over from everywhere and I'm getting tired of staples not punching all the way through for documents of 10 sheets or less. This stapler does the job. It doesn't look like it can being lighter and smaller than your standard metal versions from the 80s that you can slam and hope for the best. This is MUCH easier to use and way more effective. It's well built and all it takes is one push and you're done. If your staples don't punch all the way through - you get a do-over with the staple remover tool - which is also handy. All in all this is a good stapler kit and a good value.

After forty years, my original school stapler finally gave up the ghost, and I replaced it with this one, namely because it looks the same XD So far, I am pleased with this stapler. It's heavy duty, but not quite as much as my old stapler. It's easy to fill, and the included staples are sharp. The action on it is smooth and I haven't had any bum staplings yet. There are parts that feel lighter and flimsier than my old stapler, but it doesn't seem to impede the effectiveness of this one. Let's see if this one lasts for forty years XD

Thermoplastic rubber base. The top has a plastic cover. The rest seems all steel.I like that the top is wide, and has no sharp edges to push on.The staple compartment opens a little too easily. I would prefer if the top latched a bit, but it is just slight friction that holds it together. The included staples are good. They have sharp tips to help pierce through so they don't take ton of force. It has no problem going through 50 sheets as described, but you do need to use the longer staples (included) for them to bend properly. The staple puller's plastic body doesn't feel that tough. It is a good design though. The taper lets you drive the staple out with a forward push, and it has a little plastic top that stops the staples flying away. Works great.Mine weighs 323g (11.4 oz) empty.

Bostitch is a brand that I've known since childhood. With the advent of outsourcing and so many third-party white label manufacturers out there, Bostitch really has faded into the background when it comes to stapler selections. I may come across this brand once or twice at the Home Depot or Lowe's, but most times, Swinglines and other Chinesium brands have taken over the majority of eCommerce, Walmart, and some of the Depot platforms. When I come across this little puppy, it's a no-brainer and I just have to grab it. Much to my expectations, this heavy-duty stapler lives up to the Bostitch branding. The entire stapler has heft, is made of metal, and even at that, comes apparent to have gone through generations of innovation and optimization to make it what it is today. All the proverbial functions on this stapler works well, was able to split it up and do it in wall-stapler mode. The bottom of the jaw has a turn-switch to guide the stapler in or out. Loading the staples is familiar enough, just open it up and load, spring clips it all in and good to go. I didn't try to staple up 50 pages as I've gotten used to the 6mm staples that came with the set and about 20 or so pages this stapler was able to punch through without much issue. At the thickest paper setting, I did have to "knock" the jaw in, which this action just can't be done by common plastic housing staples for those will just knock the upper cage loose after only a few knocks. This metal stapler is well-built and can really take some abuse. In a nut-shell, this is a much streamlined, yet robust, strong, heavy-duty famous Bostitch with all the nice built-in features embedded into one. Except for the tail side for stapler lift tab, everything is there. But for that missing tab, there's an included remover stick that you just need to manage keeping it nearby. Other than that, this is one of the best staplers out there, and lives up to its name. Bostitch staplers and fasteners have been the best there is, and still is.
