Other than squeaky tight(needed oiling bad), take a while to break them in. Only thing I didn't see, which is different then the other 4 brands I've worn out, is the large bolt(which you can't see from any of the pics that is posted when looking to purchase them) that is double nutted, so it sticks into the top half of dirt retaining area between the "shovels"

Wow, I bought this 5 years ago and now see it as three times the price. Hopefully this is only temporary. I was digging a hole the other day and the handle split in the middle. Maybe it got damaged with a piece of equipment or something in any case I'm looking for new handles.

Used many post hole shovels in my life, I have a few at home. Bought this product recently only to realize upon first use that once you hit about 24-26” the shovel becomes almost ineffective.In order to close the shovel mouth you have to pull the two fibreglass handles outwards. This is common in most post hole diggers except the distance you must pull the handles outwards is so great that it forces you to switch to a more ergonomical post hole digger if you wish to get passed 26”. This post hole digger is no different then a 69.99 model you would find at a Home Depot, home hardware or peavey mart. In fact I’d argue my post hole digger from peavey mart that was 69.99 was far better for the price and would eat this Bon for lunch. Also not worth the delivery wait from the US
